Where can I start? As a non-EU I have one year residence permit, at the time of arrival I had 6 months validity left. The lady at the counter denied to give me keys and told me to apply for residence permit for the next year immediately to get the key. I just arrived in bologna after 15 hours bus ride with 6 bags. I felt so horrible and went to post office to apply for residence permit which is not technically possible until only when 1-2 months left on the permit, then we can apply for extension. I even told the receptionist but she kept denying. After 2 hours while I was still at the post office, going through my pile of bags looking for documents that I need to apply for extension (which will be rejected ofc) she told me to come back and get the key and that she found a way to have a solution (which is she read rules of Joivy that says you dont need the proof of residence permit application if it has more than 2/3 months in it). She acted like she was doing me a favor while she almost made me homeless for her own ignorance. Bathroom would clog everyday by itself and after trying to contact them to fix it, they would like at least a month to show to fix it. Sometimes they didnt even respond. Once they told they are going to give us penalty fines if we dont unclog it and make the apartment cleaner which already was clean enough. Dish washer was broken, refrigerator was broken, even after multiple complain they didnt fix it. Rooms wall was literally made of cardboard so you could hear even a pin drop from your flatmates side from the next room. Another drama started when I wanted to leave the apartment around the time my initial booking was ending. I was told they are gonna fine me 1.5x rent and more for not giving them 3 months notice. Otherwise told me to find a new tenent to take over the room. I contacted many person and held visits to take the room and even found 2 person ready to move it (mind you, you cant tell the rent of the room as Joivy doesnt even know how much it can be but still I found people who would take over the room without having a second thought at their budget). After I applied for leaving notice, they immediately let someone else book the room from the website even though I gave the notice I already found future tenents. The whole thing even took 2 weeks just to get a simple answer if someone has even booked the room or not and when can the new tenant move in who I managed. After I left they have returned me just 20 euro with invoice filled with unclear fees.

Read moreI want to write about my stay in DoveVivo Mover that created one of my best memories in Bologna. From the first day of my arrival here to the last day, I have always seen the very good behaviour of the staff. The staff were always friendly, professional, and willing to ensure a comfortable stay. The facilities were well-maintained, and any issues were promptly addressed. The room conditions were excellent, providing a clean, comfortable, and cozy environment that made me feel right at home. Additionally, the study room was a fantastic resource, offering a quiet and conducive space for focused work and study. The gym was well-equipped, making it easy to maintain a healthy lifestyle during my stay. Even in exceptional circumstances, the management showed great understanding and flexibility, which I truly appreciated. I highly recommend Campus Mover to anyone looking for a reliable and supportive accommodation option. Thank you for making my stay...
