Unfortunately, I didn't get the opportunity to work closely with Leonessa, but Angela really saved our day! We came into the rail station and half of the elevators were not working on that day. Unfortunately, we had a lot of luggage and needed to use the elevators to get to the taxi stand, so we were simply unable. I walked over and - though this is not something I would ever normally think of doing - I got very lucky to ask Angela if she could help us hail a taxi, and she did! It really saved our day, my wife and I would have had to drag our luggage all the way around the train station, and I don't even know if that's possible.

We already had accommodation booked, but after seeing the kindness and professionalism of the staff in action, I would never hesitate to book a room in Brescia at the Leonessa. Lovely hotel in a strategic location right next to the train station. Very friendly reception staff and a classic continental breakfast that we enjoyed. The windows were excellently soundproofed.

The downside was the room with a whirlpool bath - the bathroom door couldn't be closed, the hot and cold water regulation in the shower area didn't work, the curtains in the room were dirty, and we were missing instructions for the whirlpool.
