Occasion We were here in between holiday accommodations. We stayed for one night. We always stay at an Accor Hotel because of the privileges of the Le Club Accor level.
Impression The hotel is located outside of the city center, yet you can walk there in 15 - 20 minutes. It's in a quiet area which feels safe. I felt save leaving my car there at night. The hotel looks nice, luxurious, clean and welcoming. It has a clean pool and a nice back garden where you can lie down to sun bath or have some drinks. It is a renovated Novotel so the furniture and brand identity are in the style of the modern Novotel. It has a nice renovated bar with a wide variety of drinks and good coffee. Rooms are spacious with even an extra couch, a desk to work on, a really modern bathroom and a double bed that sleeps very well.
Staff The staff is very nice. When we were there we wanted to do a photo shoot for L'Oreal in the pool and that was no problem. Other things we asked were not a problem either. They make you feel welcome and do a good job.
Hygiene The hotel is spotless. Everything, from the room to public areas, are as clean as they can be. The house keeping does a really good job cleaning the hotel. Our compliments go out them them.
Language The full team speaks Italian and have a good knowledge of English.
Price The price is something you can not beat. For €79 a night (fixed price, no cancellation, paid a couple of days up front) it is a no brainer to go to. I have paid way more for way less hotels. It sure is a good hotel to visit.

Read moreWe (two adults to teenagers) stayed three nights at Novotel Brecia 2 and enjoyed it. The hotel is fairly new. Both public areas and the room were in a nice condition and clean. Actually, we were surprised on how fresh the room felt.||The location is good when you travel by train with a 10–15 minute walk from the station. The area around the hotel felt safe, even though there were not many people out and a few stray people roaming around.||One benefit of the hotel is the pool. It is nicely kept and a gem on a hot Italian summer day.||The breakfast was plentiful. As often in the summer it was rather crowded, but we never had a problem finding a spot. They even opened to sit outside when it was crowded. That was really nice.||There are free public parking spots outside of the hotel, but the hotel has its own fenced parking which they let us use as well as a paid garage for parking.||Across the street there is a big supermarket, which is really convenient if you should shop for a picnic or snacks for the room.||To anyone staying at the hotel I'd like to recommend the restaurant Il Rituale a few minutes south of the hotel. It was truly splendid and really good value for money (excellent food and wine for the same price as the restaurants in the city center).||Overall Novotel Brecia 2 was just what we were looking for on a three day stop on our family vacation. Great value for money. Well...
Read moreThis hotel looks and feels like it has had its best days. One elevator was broken or under construction, only one other elevator was available for the whole place. No key cards, just 1 regular key for the room. Rooms are small but ok. The AC didn't work. Typical for old places, with a vent in the wall and its thermostat that doesn't do what you expect of it. Cold in the middle of the night, making too much noise. It's in the details everywhere that this hotel is in dire need of refurbishment. Also a real pity about the "miscommunication" in regards to breakfast, which was clearly mentioned to be included upon arrival. However, we were denied access to the breakfast area upon mentioning our room number. A new receptionist couldn't help us. It's for the best I guess, since we got to discover some really nice bakeries in the neighbourhood. But you can't shake off the feeling of being misguided. Finally, the hotel offers free parking, which in the end was the only good...
