The casoncelli alla bresciana was simply superb if you eat at this restraunt I would highly recommend this dish, second course of veal brisket and polenta was ok the polenta was more gluey rather than creamy and the jus was slightly over seasoned for my taste. The waitress was very charming and done a very good job of explaining the menu as I don't speak Italian and they didn't have an English menu. However the waitress was very abruptly interrupted with whom seemed to be the manger and although I was not sure of what he said , buy his demeanor and the dusting of his hands and the pointing to other customers suggested he was telling the poor girl to hurry up whitch put a damper on the ambiance and made me...

I’ve tried eggs with truffle, duck carpaccio, snails fried in bacon, Casoncelli, different variations of Porcini mushrooms (fresh and cooked), beef and veal with polenta and Tiramisu - everything was fantastic. They also have a great selection of wonderful local wines. The prices are fair and the chef and all of the personnel are extremely nice and accommodating. One of my favorite restaurants in Italy, hands down. Highly...

Buca restaurant
This typical Brescia restaurant is located near the train station and is the oldest restaurant in Brescia. I remember that the first time I was there was back in 1961. When I can I willingly stop to eat in this restaurant and I must say that I have always enjoyed it, the place is very nice and typical, appetizers, first courses, second courses and desserts are really well cared for and a lot of wine choices and the price is proportionate. All the staff are very professional and well available to advise customers. I congratulate all the staff and I have no difficulty in recommending stopping in this...
