⭐️ Addendum to the hotel’s response
I am visiting this hotel for the second time, while my family has been staying here regularly for decades. Until now, we have always been very satisfied with the service and hospitality of the owners. Unfortunately, this has changed significantly this year, as reflected in the owner’s response. For this reason, our family will sadly refrain from returning to this hotel next year.
I would like to address the points raised by the hotel, as a personal conversation on-site was declined. Of course, the house rules must be respected. However, it was not clear that one could only sit on the terrace while consuming food. On the last evening, we repeatedly asked the waitress if we could have just a drink, and she confirmed this. However, shortly afterward, we were informed by another waitress that this was not allowed, which we found to be poor service. The feedback to the junior manager went unacknowledged, and we went to the neighboring hotel bar.
Regarding the beef tartare, we had no complaints – we understood that a different preparation style is common in Italy. We were initially a bit surprised, but we tried it anyway and only asked for a sharp knife, which was somewhat difficult due to communication issues with the staff, who poorly understood English and German. Ultimately, we were able to communicate. (That the waitress does not understand German is, of course, understandable in Italy. My Italian is probably as good as her German, but English should be possible in a hotel – at least that’s my opinion.)
The restaurant’s closing time of 3 PM was unimportant to us, as we usually ate in the city. There seems to be a misunderstanding here, as she confused us with another rude guest. There was no discussion regarding the tourist tax; my sister paid €1.50 more than I did, which briefly surprised us. It turned out that I was charged €1.50 too little, which is why I wanted to give her the money. However, she did not want to accept it. It seemed to be embarrassing for her that she had made a mistake.
It is disappointing to see how hospitality has declined in recent years. One does not know what may be going on privately with the owners, but they were always friendly and welcoming in the past. I hope they soon return to their usual warm demeanor and can once again provide other guests with a pleasant vacation experience.

Read moreThis hotel wasn't a good value for money in comparison to others in my opinion. Looks good from the outside, especially the entrance and restaurant at the ground floor. Inside though it has old and outdated rooms, bathroom looked like from a different century, our toilet was falling apart, as was the small shower. The air conditioning smelled on some days and had broken controller for intensity + also quite old and a bit noisy and dirty. The breakfast was lacking quality products, but it had a fairly wide choice at least. Also we were supposed to have parking behind the hotel, but it was unregulated and therefore full. At least they gave us another parking option further away from the hotel, which was no big deal, just a minor complication. Location is great, staff was fine, beaches and sea was amazing. If they renovate and do maintenance in the rooms, maybe get higher quality pastries at least, then it would be on par with the price they have on booking. Edit: I'd say their reply to my review just made my point. I consider it quite unprofessional to be assuming something about your guest's financial possibilities, assuming if they come to your hotel they can't afford better quality, and trying to put your guest down by these comments, instead of taking some constructive feedback. Read moreHad the pleasure of staying for a week at Hotel Levante, Caorle recently. Very happy with the whole experience. It was great to be in a hotel room where everything works perfectly. Water pressure, drainage and all amenities were excellent, beautiful view of the beach, a nice little balcony, comfortable beds. What more could you ask for? Internet! Wifi that has a great signal all the time! Hotel had umbrellas right in front on the beach.Very convenient and easy to use. Enjoyed the breakfast which was included. We ate dinner at the restaurant most nights, and there was a great variety of menu items so that I never had the same thing twice. Food was very good quality and very well prepared (Try the grilled tuna steak in sesame seeds!) and service was always efficient, friendly and authentic.
