Hotel La Vetta Europa — Hotel in Castellana Grotte

Very happy to have chosen Hotel La Vetta Europa in Castellana Grande for my five-day break during Easter week 2023 (I booked directly rather than through a hotel booking website). Helpful staff welcomed us when we arrived quite late in the evening. Our room was basic but very clean. Breakfast was just enough but the coffee was exceptional. They freshly roast, grind and blend coffee on premises. You can’t have more authentic coffee than this! The hotel has its own parking space and finding a parking slot could not have been easier. The hotel is just two minutes away on foot to the Grotte di Castellana, a two hour visit to underground caves which one simply cannot miss. Overall, good value for money and the ideal place to visit the surrounding beauty of Puglia (such as Polignano a Mare, Monopoli and Taranto for the Good Friday procession) and Basilicata...

The hotel is close to the castellano grotte and most importantly close to the towns of Alberobello, Locorotondo etc. They have a free parking and a good breakfast with fruits, cereals, cheese, salami, croissants, yogurt and desserts. Gianodomenico the owner makes the best coffee according to his grandfather recipe. He was so attentive to what we needed and made our stay comfortable. Amazing hotel, very very kind and helpful staff, top level cleanliness and service. The location is perfect for travelling around the top destinations in Puglia like Alberobello, Monopolli or Polignano A Mare, or to have a relaxing stay in Castellana Grotte. There is a park nearby, couple of restaurants, and the Grotte di Castellana is only 50m away.
