Ristorantino "Da Ciccio" — Restaurant in Castellana Grotte

Ottimi servizi e gusti! Pranzo e cena abbiamo fatto qui e erano fantastici! I was very tired of the other restaurant's bad attitude the day before near our hotel, so very afraid of similar incidents but niente problema! At the lunch we saw 2 camerieri and they were very professional, attentive to my vegan request and fruits preferences(I don't like melon but watermelon) , and their pasta fresca!!! Vegan orecchiette was al dente and perfect tempreture and cime di rapa was senza acciughe(without anciovies) they have arranged at the lunch. Ambience were also relaxed, calm, we could hear the bird chrping peceful song😇😌🐦‍⬛🦚

At the dinner a bit vivace but not noisy, enough talking and hearing well and cameriere remembered our romantic seats without reservation👏💖Also they have arranged vegan pasta how I liked it(I wanted another typer pasta so requested another tipici pugliesi, cavatelli😋) and came with crema di zucca(zucchini cream) was very good! I wanted funghi cardoncelli but maybe chef decided what’s best so maybe next time! Sono stato in questo ristorante martedì 19 agosto. Sono rimasto al quanto deluso. L’ho scelto in seguito alle recensioni positive, ahimè molto strane, ed abbiamo preso un piatto di orecchiette con cime di rapa, loro piatto tipico, ed è stata una vera delusione rispetto agli ristoranti in cui siamo stati. Senza sapore, sembravano scaldati e basta una vera bestemmia alla cucina ottima pugliese. Anche il piatto di cavatelli allo scoglio non saporito come gli altri, mia moglie è nettamente superiore. Quando vai in un ristorante ti aspetti qualcosa in più sopratutto dai loro piatti forti. Anche l’antipasto misero ed insipido. Insomma deluso. Unica nota positiva...

A Castellana grotte un hotel dal magico nome: La grave! Sembra scavato nella pietra e di questa mostra le caratteristiche, pulito e bianco attorniato di fiori e piante di diverse specie e colori. Il personale, altamente qualificato, offre con squisita gentilezza accoglienza ed informazioni. Camere comode e ben attrezzate dal decoro in materiali chiari e naturali come il legno.
