This is our second time staying at Salivolpi, and there was good reason we chose to come back. We remembered the idyllic setting, the perfect location a short walk from the village center of Castellina, and the amazing care the hosts dedicate to their guests. Our second stay was even better. Kristina made all our arrangements for wine tastings and tours, and was able to advise us how to get our Covid tests at the village pharmacy. And when I realized during our layover I somehow lost my hard copy covid test result, Kristina saved the day. I had called the pharmacy to ask for my result to be emailed to me, but the pharmacist didn’t speak enough English to understand. If you are visiting Chianti, stay at Hotel Salivolpi- you...

They are always pleasant, polite and cheerful. Special mention to the only gentleman who does the night shift and breakfast service. Though we speak different languages he is ever helpful, polite and happy looking. The rooms are well equipped with amenities and the beds are comfortable. Overall a super stay for us. Will stay with them again if ever we are in Castellina 👍 Only one negative encounter in Castellina was the restaurant we had dinner, Ristorante Albergaccio di Castellina. The wait staff was rude, arrogant and unfriendly. The manager was no better. The food was average and the prices...
