Ate here for dinner and what a magical experience! The outside seating looked dreamy but because it was cold, we sat inside. We were greeted immediately by the attentive and welcoming host and waiter. Inside the restaurant was a charming cozy ambiance that made you feel like you were dining in a traditional Italian home and your nonna was cooking for you. The food was spectacular and authentic. Ate here twice whilst in Castellina in Chianti. Friendly and charming service with good English! It's a pizzeria so no surprise the pizzas and calzone are fantastic. They're also a great price at €6-8, and they'll box up your left overs for you too! Pasta primo dishes were also strong choice, I'd recommend the pici (don't seem to find it in the UK), it was cooked perfectly. Desserts, coffee and even a grappa or limochello all good. Wine list was on the pricey side, Mid/upper 20's is the lowest end and their 'table'/ house wasn't great. Limited beer selection, but the Italian lager is really good.
