Mariani Bed & Breakfast — Hotel in Castellina in Chianti

My husband, young daughter and I stayed here after a horrible travel day into Tuscany. Our first accommodation didn’t work out and Serena the owner truly swept in and saved the day. It’s a very nice place to stay within minutes walk from town. This places has Wi-Fi and she gave us a discount card to many restaurants in the town. Her breakfast she served every morning was wonderful and she really made us feel very welcome. We stayed in August which I wouldn’t recommend due to the extreme heat but because we were there for a wedding we made it work. There isn’t air conditioning at this location- many places in this area do not have it but it was still very nice. We had a last minute change in our travel plans so we had to leave abruptly but we were still able to contact Serena for a smooth departure. We highly recommend any travelers...

Charming B & B We loved our stay at the Mariani! Serena is the loveliest host. We were captivated by her warmth and charming welcome. She came extra early for us to check in and had the greatest tips for tours and restaurants in the area. The room was immaculately clean and well-maintained. The location couldn't have been better. Easy to find in this picturesque, beautiful town. All nearby sightseeing towns, wineries and country sides are close by, making it a perfect base for exploring the area. What truly made this stay exceptional was the friendly, sociable demeanor. Serena went above and beyond (fan was provided due to the heat!) We picked this B&B as a very last minute booking because the hotel that our friends were staying at was| completely booked.|But we ended up completely happy and satisfied with the experience! First of all, nestled| in a small town of Castellina, the B&B is in a great location. As soon as we arrived, Serena the owner was| waiting to greet us up front, check-in process was really pleasant as she was so helpful explaining the area and making restaurant reservations for us.
