Gardaland Adventure Hotel — Hotel in Castelnuovo del Garda

This is our second day here. I have a very bad feeling about the hotel. I have been in many hotels during my life (4-5 stars). This year alone, gardaland adventure hotel is the 6th hotel i stay in. The price of the hotel is expensive as it should be to such a theme hotel, however the TREATMENT IS VERY CHEAP!!!! In all the hotels i stayed in before, i usually pay extras and taxes at checkout. In all restaurants in the world you pay after eating. But here, in this hotel, they act the opposite to these universal codes. I am even afraid they will charge me in advance to any additional breath i take here. I had to pay city taxes at the arrival and had to stand in a long time to pay for breakfast before entering the breakfast area. I felt humiliated because they made me feel as though i am a thief who is going to escape after eating. Surely the hotel will answer saying this is their policy, but excuse me to say this policy sucks. Moreover, i had to rent towels for the swimming pool, 2 Euros each. Alas, what a 5-star hotel takes money for towels??? Another policy??? Please add the rental amount of towels to the hotel fees and spare us and you this embarrassment. The hotel itself as a building is nice. The rooms are nicely decorated. There is a lot of parking spaces. The staff is generally ok, though one of them was rude to my teenage daughter. However, all the good things in the hotel diminishes and disappear because if their cheap policies of payments. I am not saying don’t go there, but be emotionally prepared for this treatment. By the way, in this trip to Italy i’ve been to another 3 hotels (Rome, Florence, Milan)… they never asked to...

Beautiful place to stay. We stayed about 8 nights in the arabian room, room number 6109. It was truly a blessing to be here. The room is really beautiful, clean, smelled nice and great for the kids. In the room there's a treasure hunt for the kids, we had a blast to fulfill the treasure hunt, the kids loved it and were very happy with the treasure ;) the food in the restaurant was good even breakfast had enough choice to eat what you want, fruit, bread, Yoghurt. For dinner everything was possible and the staff really friendly. The staff at the checkin point, the receptionist was outstanding, speaks very good English, really friendly and very helpful. The whole resort is nice and clean and beautiful to walk around. Every corner has something to see for the kids. We have no complains, it was the best vacation ever. We're already talking about coming back even tho we still have 3 days here. The kids loved it just as much as we. Great swimming pool, great animation and wonderfull shows. Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per la terza volta dopo qualche anno. La camera viene data dalle 15 in poi come in tutti gli hotel e nel frattempo abbiamo passato la giornata nella piscina. Il costo di una notte per 4 persone (2 adulti e 2 bambini) è di 500€ + 60€ di colazione a parte. Alle 15 saliamo contenti di vedere la nostra camera a tema far west, entriamo e ci accorgiamo che ci è stata data la camera con il bagno appositamente arredato per persone con disabilità fisiche. Premetto, è molto apprezzabile che un hotel faccia anche camere che permettano a persone con disabilità di soggiornare al massimo comfort però nelle foto sul sito della camera prenotata veniva mostrato tutt’altro bagno, con box doccia con porte di vetro, lavandino ampio, wc classico e un bidet, cosa totalmente diversa dal bagno per disabili che ci hanno dato. Siamo andati a riferire l’errore che era stato fatto in reception ed è venuta una signora della direzione che invece di scusarsi ha detto: “ nel nostro hotel viene data la disponibilità di soggiornare anche a persone con disabilità e quella è la camera che vi è stata data non possiamo farci nulla”. Non mi aspettavo per nulla una risposta del genere, soprattutto perché i soldi con cui abbiamo pagato erano buoni e la stanza doveva essere come quella in foto. Dopo aver detto che allora avremmo voluto ricevere i soldi indietro e andarcene ci hanno cambiato la stanza e finalmente ce l'hanno data come nelle foto (alle 16 del pomeriggio). La colazione a buffet molto ricca nulla da ridire, tranne che ci è stato presentato un conto ci 70€ di una cena che delle persone hanno fatto dando il numero della nostra camera, e anche lì nuovamente si scusano. Questa cosa della camera ci ha rovinato l’atmosfera felice in famiglia soprattutto perché dopo la risposta dalla direzione sembrava quasi che fossimo noi quelli che disprezzavano la bella iniziativa dell’hotel di far soggiornare anche persone disabili. E comunque il bagno dei disabili non è molto a norma a mio avviso, è molto piccolo e immagino una persona in carrozzina quanta fatica debba fare per potersi lavare visto che il piatto della doccia è stato messo affianco alla porta d’ingresso. Per quanto riguarda la piscina, il servizio al bar antigienico, usano i soldi e poi vanno a toccare i panini senza guanti, i prezzi li trovo davvero esagerati, un pezzo di pane con un würstel dentro 6,00€ uno spritz con ghiaccio e un pezzo di arancia senza oliva 6,00€, trovo abbastanza vergognoso visto che dev’essere un posto per famiglie e bambini. L’animazione e l’intrattenimento inesistenti, tranne che alle 17 del pomeriggio si sono messi ad accendere un po’ di musica davanti al bagno della piscina, a differenza di qualche anno fa che l’intrattenimento e il personale erano più gioiosi e prezzemolo girava tra i tavoli alla colazione, cosa che ora nn c’è.
