Lovely stay at a hotel with character in the old town of Castiglione di Sicilia. We stayed one night in the spacious and clean rooms (25, 26). The hotel has a terrace with old town views and perhaps the best breakfast buffet on our trip to Sicily.
The restaurant was closed and we ate at the nearby square at La dispensa dell'Etna. Overall, the old town felt like a ghost town in the evening with most options closed on a Monday in early May.
The hotel shared driving directions and a hint where to park on arrival. We could park at the square in front of the church a few meters away, but it may not always be so easy.

They made us feel special and not just room fillers like you do in so many places. Not only the rooms are spacious and clean but the balcony views are to die for. Read moreHad a three night stay in this wonderful family run hotel. It was our first visit to sicily and it didn’t disappoint. The hotel was small and intimate well appointed in the very enchanting little town,the room was spotlessly clean and nicely furnished. We had a balcony which was lovely. The family were friendly and welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us they even arranged for a driver to collect us from and to the local train station.we ate in the hotel restaurant and the food was amazing and very reasonable price wise.
