Unfortunately, despite the high quality of the facility, I am forced to report an incident that occurred on August 28, 2025, at around 5 a.m., which, under EU and Italian law, constitutes a serious crime. We stayed at your campsite for two days. On August 27, at around 6:40 p.m., we went to the reception desk to ask about the possibility of paying for the entire stay in advance, as we had to leave early the next morning before the reception desk opened at 7:30 a.m. We were told that there was no problem and we made the payment, receiving full confirmation of the payment. At around 5 a.m., we attempted to leave the campsite and drove our car towards the exit gate. A woman approached us in front of the gate and asked what we were doing. We explained that we were leaving the campsite, and she told us that we couldn't leave now. We drove closer to the barrier, because there was another person standing there, who turned out to be a security guard. We explained that we had paid for our stay the previous day because we had to leave early in the morning as we had a very long journey ahead of us, involving several hours of driving. At that moment, we were lied to for the first time, because both the security guard and the other lady told us that the barrier was locked until 7:30 a.m. and that it was not possible to leave the campsite earlier. I said that we had to leave, that we had agreed this the day before at reception when we made the full payment, and I also showed proof of payment for the entire stay. At that moment, the lady called me a liar, because she said she had not received any information from anyone at reception, so I must be lying, even though I had shown proof of payment. At this point, EU law, which guarantees freedom of movement for EU citizens, had already been violated. Italian law concerning unlawful detention had also been violated. I said that we had to leave because we had a very long journey ahead of us, and then the woman just looked at me and said, “jump,” pointing to the car, indicating that I should jump over the barrier with the car. At that moment, the security guard joined the conversation and started threatening us that he would call the police. I told him that it was a great idea and that he should do it right away, because then we would be able to leave, since they were illegally detaining us here. Then the campsite staff started talking to each other in Italian and also started addressing us in Italian. I explained that we didn't understand Italian. I communicated with them in English the whole time. When I insisted that he call the police, the security guard began to back down and said that they would only arrive after 40 minutes because the police station was far away. I said that he should call or I would call because they were not giving us a choice. The campsite employees started discussing something among themselves again, and then the security guard took our proof of payment again and, from what I saw, took a photo of it. And this proof contains our full personal details. It has my first name, last name, and home address. So this was unacceptable behavior. However, the worst was yet to come, because the security guard went to the booth and opened the barrier after taking a photo of our personal details. Even though he had previously claimed that the barrier was blocked. He approached our car from the passenger side, where my partner was sitting, who had been crying for several minutes because she was very stressed by the situation of being held by them. He repeated three times that we should remember his face because if he lost his job because of us, he would find us. After this threat from the security guard, we left the campsite and drove away. We are devastated by this situation because we don't know what to do or what to think, as this man threatened to find us and now has our personal details, including our address. We don't know what such a person is...
Read moreWe booked COMFORT DREAM, means space for camper van but with private bathroom and kitchen. Space is small and there is almost no grass, only a bare ground. "Cleaning" charges, that everyone pays AS STANDARD are 50 EUR - that is a joke, but well.. Even more disgusting is that despite charging all clients 50 EUR for cleaning it turns up that you will be charged additional fee, if you wont clean the kitchen or bathroom YOURSELF!! I have to highlight the fact that we have left the kitchen and batchroom pretty much untouched - the only problem was plastic bottles left in the kichen and sand in the bathroom) This was enough for Garden Paradiso to charge us additional 45 EUR for cleaning charges ???!!! Mind there are absolutely no tools available in the kitchen or bathroom to do any cleaning what's whatever - even to swipe the floor. And as mentioned the space for camper is basically bare ground with no grass so it is impossible to not bring any sand with you when entering facilities. Another thing is the service in reception - had to wait over half an hour to be served cos they had 2 ladies at the reception at the time when you have to check out (for anyone that has any common sense this is no surprise that this is the busiest time of the day, but somehow this isnt that obvoius to the staff or management). then they have issued incorrectly the invoice cos apparently there was some system error. What can I say more.. The sea is pretty rubbish, the beach is not sandy, the fee for sun loungers - I'm not going to even comment as it goes as much as 120 EUR. BASICALLY, we have paid nearly 400 EUR for 3 night stay for 2 people. Oh, and after 11pm (23:00) YOU CANNOT EVEN SIT OUTSIDE YOUR CAMPER/TENT cos they have some sort of "CURFEW" so you have to be completely silent until...
Read moreOne of the Best Spontaneous Trips Ever!||We recently went on a spontaneous 3-day trip, and it turned out to be one of the best we’ve ever had! We first arrived in Jesolo and tried a few of our usual camping spots like Union Lido, Mediterraneo, and a couple of others. Unfortunately, everything was fully booked due to the German holidays.||Just when we were about to give up, we stopped by Garden Paradiso — and from the very first moment, the reception was incredibly welcoming. A special thank you to Veronika at the front desk. She was extremely kind, made a few calls, and managed to find us a camping lot. While the other campsites simply told us “we’re full” and sent us away, Veronika went the extra mile to help.||For us, the most important thing at a campsite is the quality of the showers and restrooms — and at Garden Paradiso, they are absolutely top-notch. Brand new, beautifully designed, spacious, and spotless — without exaggeration, the best facilities we've experienced so far. The layout is fantastic, and the pictures really speak for themselves.||Thank you also to Francisco, who kindly showed us the available lots and let us choose.||Without a doubt, this is now our #1 camping destination, and we will definitely be coming back.|Once again, thank you, Veronika, for taking the extra time and effort to help us — something the larger campsites didn’t bother to do.||Highly...
