First day here so we'll see how it goes. It is walkable into Pinzolo, but not really in ski boots. There's a ski-bus, but there are only two each way through the day and it might be early (we found a +/- 15 minute range). Finding the bus stop wasn't obvious (but it was so obvious in hindsight; turn right out of the residence and turn right again at the end of the road, it's probably only fifteen meters ahead on the right, and make sure if you're leaving the ski room to exit through the door at the left hand end of the garage and not up the car ramp that'll significantly shorten the distance you walk 😄) - if you go for the ski-bus it can supposedly be bought from the driver, €2, but the ticket can be booked online first with an option for seven days. (It does appear that some of the other buses do expect tickets in advance so check before using anything other than the ski-bus.) Reception was pleasant and registration straightforward, remember cash 🇪🇺 for compulsory cleaning and 'city tax'; bond can be secured on a CC (although reports on this seem to vary). We oversized our apartment so not fair to comment too much on that, but a little worn round the edges, and you might not be able to reach the wardrobe rails unless you're about 2m tall. Worth noting that the electrical sockets are Italian three pin but of the sort that will accept euro...
Read moreNot so bad but not so good either. First of all, you should pay their tax and the cleaning fee (70€ only in cash) right in the moment of arriving. I didn’t even manage to bring the luggage from my car. Even if you pay the cleaning fee, they provide you with 4 big towels which are not changed during your staying. Second of all, we were welcomed at the reception by a blonde mid-age lady who doesn’t speak english, just italian. A comedy indeed. We hardly managed to understand each other. I can't understand how the hotel management thought to leave a non-English speaker at the reception, taking into account that citizens from various other countries cross their threshold every day. The “one free hour at the spa” was given only for the family who made the reservation, not for all of us (3 families). The ski area is far away from this location. You can go there only by car. The room temperature is max 23 degrees Celsius. The ski equipment room doesn’t have a security camera inside. The wifi works badly. The town center is very close from rta. What i really enjoyed was the garden in front of our room and the view. The room was sufficiently equipped for 6 days of accommodation, having crockery, oven, hair dryer, tv in living room. It is a quiet place indeed.
Eventually you get used to...
Read moreI can't say I'd recommend the hotel we stayed at for a week. The experience was nothing short of disappointing. First off, let's talk cleanliness—or rather, the lack thereof. It seems like the concept of cleaning rooms is foreign to them. Our room stayed untouched for the entire week. I mean, come on, not even once did they bother to tidy up or change the towels! It's like they expect guests to enjoy the ambiance of their own mess. And if you think that's bad, wait till you hear about the location. They advertise themselves as being conveniently close to the ski lifts, but in reality, it's a trek and a half. Unless you're up for a marathon hike every morning just to hit the slopes, you might want to reconsider. Oh, and let's not forget about the spa. It's advertised like some luxurious oasis, but the reality falls far short. It's more like a glorified bathtub with lukewarm water and half-functioning jets. Definitely not the relaxing experience they make it out to be. Overall, save yourself the headache and steer clear of this hotel. It's a disappointment from start to finish, and there are plenty of better...
