The lift from Pinzolo is getting quite old. The lift station has lots of stairs because of its old design. The new Doss del Sabion building is of poor design. Toilet is too small. A lot of empty wasted space in the building. The bar needs a lot more seating and a better queuing system. The layout of the building could learn a lot from the Hartkaiser mountain top terminal in Ellmau, Austria. Great ski resort with in my opinion the nicest variety of slopes of all the neighbor ski resorts. Especially the black courses are sublime and you can ski all the way down to the parking lot. It tends to be a little to warm though therefore the snow at the bottom can be a little slushy. However on top of the mountain the snow is perfect. Questa volta non sono qui a parlare del lato tecnico o della funzionalità delle funivia, tra l'altro perfetta, ma di Fabiano, un operatore degli impianti. Ieri, a causa di problematiche varie, non siamo riusciti, dopo la discesa dai XII Apostoli a tornare in tempo per l'ultima discesa da "Dos de Sabion", l'alternativa sarebbe stata di scendere a Pinzolo a piedi,rischiando di incontrare il buio. Abbiamo provato a telefonare alle funivie, è qui che mi ha risposto questo ragazzo, gentilissimo, professionale, mi ha dato una serie di informazioni (il portarsi a Malga Bandalors per il recupero) e nello stesso tempo mi ha tranquillizzato sul prosieguo della serata, mi ha fornito numeri di taxi facenti servizio di recupero, è sempre stato presente ad ogni mia chiamata, al punto di offrirsi volontario nel caso non avessimo trovato taxi disposti a recuperarci. In un epoca dove l'altruismo, la buona educazione e la grande professionalità latitano, io ho avuto la fortuna di imbattermi in Fabiano, grande persona, in possesso di tutte le doti sopra menzionate.
