My wife and I stayed at Nevegall from the end of 2012 and the first week of 2013.
Due to the traffic on the A22, we arrived at 19:30 by warning long before, but we did not find anyone at the residence waiting for us and we were forced to wait outside until 20.30 with a temperature of about -15 °.
Before getting the keys and seeing the room you have to pay a deposit of 150 Euro for damages: cash! and if you did not go to the ATM to take them because otherwise they will not give you the room's keys.
The apartment was in fact a tiny room (for those 3 people are a bit larger), but to our surprise we soon realized that the "sofa bed" was not a real sofa bed, but it was two cots separate and folding that, once opened, they went together and with a mattress so thin (to allow bending) that we can "count" all the planks below ... in short, the rest is an optional.
The closet hardly contained the stuff for only one person, it was old, with a bad smell, the paint on the door was worn, and the carpet stained (but they have asked for 150 Euro deposit for any damage!).
Moving on to the bathroom: tiles cracked, door crumbling, towels with holes (as well as the sheets of the "sofa bed"), WC tablet that had to be hand-held otherwise moved.
After our complaints, the Guardian tells us to speak to the owner but it closes up on me, saying that we would talk the next day at the agency.
The next day, the owner wasn't in the agency but there are other Russian customers "angry" (from other residences managed by the same owner) and a sassy secretary tells us that if we are not satisfied this is our problem and that she doesn't care; moreover, to speak with the owner we had to come back at 2pm (as if we had organized our holiday in Livigno for him).
Unfortunately, being the first week of New Year, we did not find any kind of workaround in the whole area of Livigno and we were forced to remain at Nevegall to not completely damage the holiday.
Other information: The residence has a lift normally OFF and that absolutely can not be used by customers but only by internal staff when they are cleaning: thus, for the ladies, remember to prepare light luggage, especially if you have to carry them up the stairs. The walkway, about 25 meters to the road, was covered with ice for the entire week despite having only one day snowed: so remember to walk very carefully.
At the end of Livigno has paid off with good feelings, but Nevegall...
Read moreOur stay at this hotel was met by an appalling level of rudeness from the manager/receptionist, leaving a stain on our overall experience. From the moment we checked in, it was abundantly clear that hospitality was not a priority for the management. The manager's attitude was not just unprofessional but downright hostile, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere that permeated our entire stay.||Upon arrival we were not greeted by a warm welcome but rather a hostile “what are you doing here” from the manager/receptionist. She also argued with us about the amount of people (15) that we had booked for, despite us paying for this and fully booking four rooms to accommodate us all. We were then harassed daily with rude voice notes whilst out in the day to pay a cash deposit despite there being no mention of this at all on the booking. Every time we arrived home after skiing the manager/receptionist would shout at us to be quiet. We also asked the manager/receptionist if we could store our bags for a few hours on the last day before our flight and she point blank refused saying “she only works a few hours a day”. After some convincing (whereby she was extremely argumentative) she finally let us leave our bags in the huge garage of the residence. ||I believe the manager/receptionist’s name is Victoria. We have never received such awful customer service from anyone like this before, she should be ashamed. ||I would strongly advise prospective guests to look elsewhere and avoid this residence. Not only is the customer service awful but the residence itself is extremely old...
Read moreProbably the worst value for money you can get. The apartment is old and tired - it is dark, and does not look at what the photos say. The kitchen light is not working, the fridge had to be restarted. The cutlery is old and cheap. The coffee maker is dirty||||The living room/ kitchen is super small and the chairs are too low for the table. You don't have space to sit at the table and do something in the kitchen. ||||The bathroom shower is broken and therefor you need to hold the shower head when using it. ||||The wifi does not work at any acceptable speed. The bed is not a reel bed but a sofa bed. Everything is dusty and now well cleaned. The microwave kind of 'hangs' above the table - unusable if you want to sit at the table,. ||||When checking in a couple of minutes after 8pm you need to pay a fine. You cannot use the front door, but are re-routed through some back door. There is barely enough parking space. ||||I can keep on going - the people who own this place never invested any cent in the past years, and just are trying to rip off tourists. I am sure they will keep on doing this as the winter olympics are coming and many teams will be training in Livigno. ||||it is sad for the reputation of skiing that you have to pay so much for such a poor quality. We have paid 710 EUR for 3...
