Overall, positive experience, worth the money. Pros: excellent breakfast, so many choices and all great, a real treat (and included in the price) / Great location, around the corner from the lake and from there you walk towards restaurants and shops / Perfectly clean / Very large shower (suitable for tall people and those with reduced mobility) Cons: bad Internet, was not working for us at all the first day (not a major problem though since we were out most of the day) / PARKING NOT INCLUDED and not really reserved either. It is advertised as if parking is included but it is not; there is parking AVAILABLE which is different. You need to pay for it separately (it isn't very expensive though). Also, I requested to book it and got confirmation but when I arrived there was no spot reserved for us. It wasn't a major issue on this occasion because there were still spots available but it could be for someone else on a busier season / The room was small. There was almost no space to walk around the bed, so the person on the side of the wall had to either crawl over the bed or struggle to walk through the very tight space between the bed and the wall with the long curtains on the way. NOT SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE WITH REDUCED MOBILITY (but there is an elevator to the rooms) / Our room specifically faced the street so we had to sleep with the window closed because the sound of driving cars would wake us up, but then the room...

Great location, just a couple of minutes walk from the town centre and promenade. Staff are extremely friendly, and check-in was quick. |We upgraded to a sea view room with a balcony, which I would recommend. |The room itself is standard size, with a large, modern bathroom with toiletries. Great black out curtains and comfy pillows. The only suggestions I would make are 1. There is no dressing table even though there is room for one. 2. There was no bin in the room, just a small one in the bathroom. 3. Where the kettle is situated, there is no plug socket, so you have to put it on the floor to boil and carry it back over to where the cups, etc, are. |The breakfast was plentiful with a decent coffee machine. You can eat breakfast indoors or out. |There is a bar where we had a beer outside on our last night, though it's noisy outside as the hotel is on a main road. Noise was not an issue in the room as it had double glazed windows.|All in all, for its price point, I would say it...

Veramente un posto fantastico,anche perché nel caso arrivi subito a Barbarano e Gardone oltre ad essere in un punto comodo anche per scendere a Salò comodamente,perché come saprete questo sindaco ha reso completamente pedonale il paese per chilometri,giusto per dare l'ultima mazzata al cuore di Salò che era così bella quando d"estate si mangiava nei ristoranti all'aperto sul lungolago,ma anche perché tutti i negozi di via S.Carlo erano aperti e pieni di gente,20 anni fa e oltre per anni nonostante cominciasse a chiudere il Sindaco,da Maggio a fine settembre facevi fatica a passare nel paese dalla gente che c'era e c'era a tutte le ore fino alle 3/4 di mattina i Week end e durante luglio agosto e metà settembre,ma il sindaco al posto di sistemare certe parti di case comunali che nel 2020 in una cittadina come Salò non dovrebbero esistere,lui cosa fa invece?C'è il Teatro da ristrutturare completamente!Eh quello si che serve subito,fare qualcosa per le attività che hanno chiuso in tutta via San Carlo perché il primo parcheggio vicino è minimo a 2 Km di distanza... e uno con internet l'ecommerce,gli acquisti online senza spendere extra e ti arriva la merce in meno di 24 ore,bhe io Salò deserte sotto il periodo delle feste non l'ho mai visto,adesso è deserto d'estate e d'inverno,allora piuttosto se voglio fare un giro arrivo a Gardone al Vittoriale o a Maderno,e 10 metri dalla macchina ho un gelato ottimo direi,la cara vecchia Maderno che a me piace tantissimo. Comunque le attività a Salò anche quelle storiche che c'erano da una vita chi è rimasto?Vassalli che c'è da prima del Duce ed è una cioccolateria fornitissima e oltre alle spalle coperte ha anche tanta esperienza,con generazioni che hanno contribuito al nome che ora ha. Vedere Bar come lo Zanardelli di Simone,che nel giro di qualche anno,gli hanno permesso di vivere di rendita,locale che all'epoca pagato in lire era una cifra contenuta,adesso in centro quel locale vale una fortuna a confronto di quello che è stato pagato,ma chi è che si va ad imbarcare in un'avventura del genere per passarci 18 ore al giorno,anche senza Covid con Salò completamente chiusa neanche fino alla piazza dell'imbarcadero,e un pezzo fino a vassalli,ma ormai fossa rifatta,pali da tutte le parti,è diventato il paese dei nonni residenti in centro e spesso pieni di soldi ma che non consumano neanche nei negozi. Addio Salò che guadagnavi un botto . Interrompo qui perché se ci penso,al Salò che ho vissuto io crescendo...
