We have eating here two times during our stay in Salo and this restaurant is really a hidden gem in Salo. The restaurant serves authentic Sicilian dishes. Father and son run the place, the father in the kitchen and the son taking care of the guests.

Both times we have eaten here was amazing. The quality of the food is very good and you are literally a few meters away from the town square where the food is far worse.

If you like fish and want authentic Sicilian prepared dishes, friendly staff and also a place where the locals eat, then look no further.

We had two amazing evenings here an Vicente was super helpful and friendly also to our dog Jimmy who he loved after the first night.. :-)

Prices in this place are a little higher, but for us it was worth every euro as the quality is very good.

The lights in the restaurant could be a bit less bright for our taste, but it didn't bother us that much, but the place has even more potential if they change the decor slightly.

Pessima esperienza, inizialmente dalle recensione è pubblicità sui social le aspettative erano altissime, come da recensioni e il loro stesso menù l'unico ostacolo sarebbero stati i prezzi, che di fronte all alta qualità dei prodotti sarebbero stati accettati volentieri. Purtroppo però la serata è stata un disastro, assenza di molti prodotti in lista causa mancanza materia prima fresca ( questo inizialmente potrebbe far denotare una curata attenzione alla materia prima, la quale purtroppo non c'è), servizio degli antipasti già a rilento ma accettabile, crudi di buona qualità e freschezza ma purtroppo martoriati nella pulizia e nel servizio, e da lì il nulla, 2 ora di attesa dei primi senza alcun tipo di attenzione e preoccupazione verso il cliente, molti tavoli lamentandosi ricevevano a stento quello che avevano ordinato, andati via senza poter cenare, sul conto ovviamente vengono scalati i piatti non serviti, ma oltre a questo ne uno scusarsi ne un sconto simbolico per il disagio. Ricapitolando il potenziale delle materie prime c'è ma vengono maltrattate, il servizio è attenzione al tavolo pessimo, lentezza assurda e inconcepibile, altro da dire sul mangiare impossibile non abbiamo cenato. Voto 0 100€ di conto per non aver nenache potuto cenare (103€ per esattezza, neanche 3€ simbilici di sconto),...

We had the best restaurant experience here! The food was excellent, and thanks to the great recommendations from the staff we enjoyed a perfectly balanced menu with fresh seafood, pasta, a delicious parmigiana, and a wonderful dessert.
