I stayed here for a quick overnight stop as a solo traveller in the single room, but from what I've seen the B&B would be very suitable also for more extended holiday stays in the larger rooms.||||My room came at a very reasonable price and while definitely compact it was very well designed, modern, comfortable, clean and with courtesy items. Attention to details, design and decorations is evident throughout the structure. The owner Mirko is clearly in the right job as he is a very attentive and friendly host.||||Breakfast was "homely": not too many items, but of good quality with several being home made. Lack of any fruit whatsoever was surprising in this context, but this was the only negative point of the whole experience.||||I would like to return for a longer stay. My room came at a very reasonable price and while definitely compact it was very well designed, modern, comfortable, clean and with courtesy items. Bad and no breakfast. The room had a strong damp smell. It was clean and tidy, but the corners of the shower were full of mold. The "garden view" is a hot tub (you have to pay extra), 2 chairs, and a fence.

The next day, only after we inquired about the missing breakfast, we were told that the owner was not available, and there is not going to be a breakfast.

Nonetheless, the whole price was charged from our credit card a few days later.

We returned to Casa da Carmen at about 10pm that night and went straight to bed; there was no "loud talking" or anything on our side.
