House Forums - B & B Cortona — Hotel in Cortona

We stayed at Casa Soleluna in September 2020. We were so lucky to make the trip as it was in the middle of the pandemic. When we arrived we were the only guests staying at the B and B and Cristina the host made us most welcome. We had a wonderful stay and Cristina did everything she could to look after us. The breakfasts were wonderful with an amazing range of local products, some of them picked from Christina’s garden daily. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. The B and B is at the bottom of a hill with the beautiful town of Cortona at the top. There are amazing views of the whole region if you walk up to the pretty little town. The location is perfect for exploring Tuscany and it is totally worth hiring a car to explore the area which is surrounded by vineyards. If we ever return to the area again I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Casa...

Set at the foot of the old city of Cortona, this B&B is situated in a very quiet country road, offering infinite peace and ample country roads for trekking or even a simple stroll. Rooms and place as a whole, are spotless clean. Our room was facing towards the hills, giving us unlimited country views. To the left we could also see a small church bell tower that chimed softly at the hour during late mornings only, taking us back down memory lane to our childhood. Cristina, the host was very helpful and accessible for all our needs, even for a simple chat. Breakfast was varied and abundant. Our room had everything we needed and bed was extreemly comfortable. Absolutely stunning setting with Cristina being an amazing host.|With my sister we took the Green and the Purple rooms. Both very spacious, comfortable with the Purple room having a view on the very nice garden surrounding the characteristic Tuscan "casolare".|Breakfast was made with a freshly made Moka and "Cornetti con Creama" by the Vannelli Pasticceria nearby, brought in fresh by Cristina in the morning.
