HOBO Camping Val Veny — Hotel in Courmayeur

My favourite place. Came here 4 years ago, always planned to return. Unbelievably beautiful location, set at the foot of Mont Blanc. Noticed some real differences since we were last here, all for the better. Staff were quick, helpful, attentive, smooth check in process, even with an acknowledgement of our return. Shop is well stocked, you certainly won't starve! Bar well organised. Cooking facilities, including the BBQ area are exceptional, catering for large groups and solo campers. Landscape [internal to the site] is well maintained and kept looking great - landscape around you is amazing and you will spend your whole time just taking it all in. Services are great, clean, well maintained, even during the torrential downpours that we had. Lovely walks around the site - nice wee pub up the road just before you get into the walk to Punto Panoramico. Our old motorhome struggled to get up the hill to the site [he is very old], but this has nothing to do with the site and is a small price to pay for the spectacular experience that you will have once you get there. If you van is as old as our Olly, then be prepared to stop halfway up lol. We will be back, I don't think I could drive through the Mont Blanc tunnel and go past...

We just came back from Hobo Camping at Courmayeur. We booked for 3 nights only but ended up staying for another 2, we would stay even longer but camping was fully booked already. It is an absolutely Amazing place, you feel completely relaxed and Wowed from the first seconds you are there. Views are just spectacular, we just could not get enough of these magnificent mountains basically at the door step. We choose tent for 4 people, where we stayed with our two kids, which was so cozy and comfortable and really big, considering that it had one queen and two single beds. Toilets and showers are cleaned twice a day, very good water pressure and hot water. All other facilities are just Great, Bar, playground, lounge area. But the most important part is people. Thank you SO SO Much our Fantastic hosts: Eleonor and Trio, you made this trip a real Unique experience with your care, advises and just with your beautiful Smiles we saw every morning. Another Big Thank you to all the staff on the camp site: Nicoletta, Daniela, Zizo and Alessandro! Brilliant Job guys!! We will Be back next...

Wonderful camping just below the highest Alps' crests. The staff is simply amazing. You will find many amenities, starting from the two shared cooking area, one on the outside and the other fully covered, and equipped with gas stove, a shared fridge, and a sink where to wash your dishes, continuing on the free hot shower, that you can enjoy after grilling some raw meet on the free-to-use barbecue. Having wood or charcoal may not be a problem, since you would find some left by other's, but it's highly recommend to bring your own.

Near the entrance of the camping, a laundry let you wash you clothes in one of the two washing machine, and let them dry.

There is also a bar, and a mini market, but the heart of the camp is the fire pit area where the magic happens. Every night, after the sunset the staff will light two big fire and people will come to sing and have a good time all together, before going to bed and start this beautiful day all over again.
