I can’t understand why this is considered a four star hotel and praised so highly by many reviwers. This time both booking and tripavisor let me down. We discovered only at arrival that beach was not included even though their homepage says privatebeach included. Towels, daily cleaning and taxes was not included either! And all this costs around 15 euros each..! And this for 120 euro a day... I do not know if booking or the hotel is to blame the most for this but seems very strange for a four star hotel to me. The information on all there sites ismisleading to say the least! internet was crap you had to log in many times a day because it keep faling out. Breakfast was only cakes and sweets, with no variation. They had some white bread and only one type of cheese and ham every day ! Normally the prosciutto (wich tasted good) would all be gone by nine and they never provided anything more. They had this round heater (normally for eggs and bacon) but it was just for show, it was always empty. So ended up eating lots of sugary cereals. Four stars? Hmm still dont get it. Safe in my room didn’t work either and they never bothered to look at it, asked me if i read the instructions (ofc?!) and told me they needed to send a specialist which never came during my stay. The hotel is mini and not as big as they make it seem in the photos, same goes for the rooms. Standard is quite new but at the same time every solution is cheap. Door to bathroom had the lock on the outside (?), the so called sofa is just an uncomfortable sleeping chair with not enough space around. The hotel is smoshed into a noisy alley, but if you like to observe italian familiy life smoking habits and dogs barching at each other here you go. Also there is no nice view from the lower floors. You can also hear the train, but actually quite calm at night. Bicycles and an extra toiletroll was included. Can’t say the staff was particularly nice exept for the young barista at breakfast and the cleaners who could not clean our rooms. Seems to me they did the bare minimum only to get the four stars, ive been more satisfied at many...

Parking on the road outside. As you enter the grounds of the hotel you notice the attention to detail the outside area has been given. We had booked an apartment which was comfortable but basic, but for €65 a night very good value. The hotel is a good 20 min walk to the centre of San Benedetto del Tronto which is where you need to go out of season really for dinner. If in season there are some very nice sea front restaurants nearby. The beachfront looked lovely,so would love to revisit in the summer. Breakfast was lovely the bistro is again decorated with much attention to detail. Lots of choice & was offered fresh scrambled eggs. Would be lovely if the hotel offered other meals which I think is something planned for the future & we wish them really good luck. The owner was very nice & helped us with an onward reservation we had. I would definitely recommend this hotel even if the direct area it is in is not...
