Nice little tied island campground with views of the sea in every direction. I was in the wild tent area. My pitch was surrounded by vegetation and felt very private, while still being a short walk from the facilities. The bathrooms are nice (toilet paper provided but no hand soap). The laundry facilities worked well (need 5 Euro in coins). Their tiny market is well stocked and affordable (card payments only, or you can pay cash and get a prepaid card from the office). There are some cheaper beach restaurant options across the tombolo. Only downsides for me were cost (nearly the same as a mainland hotel for a tent pitch) and some loud techno coming from a nearby bar or something that lasted until late (not the campground’s fault).

Overall a beautiful place with secluded beaches, and good swimming/ snorkeling opportunities. Some of the island is an abandoned camp site - which is a slight detraction. Very popular with wind surfers and kitesurfers - although a bit of an average kite spot in my opinion.

Great camping site. Situated right on the small Island you have a fantastic landscape around the Island. Different types of beaches (sandy, rocks for snorkeling). For watersports enthusiastic this is an awesome place. Kitesurfing and windsurfing.

Myself and my girlfriend experience a very strong electrical shock while taking the shower.

We have been guest in the "natural junior suite" 40 B, for 10 day, from 28 May to 6 June 2016.

We also have experience some light electrical discharges from the tap for several days, we complained but no answer.

We we had the strong electrical shock in the shower(my body was shaking!) We called in immediately the guy in charge at the reception(it was 11 PM). He could not very directly the issue in the shower for obvious reasons, bu e could feel the light discarge coming from the tap of the basin, so he invited us not to use the bathroom!! The morning after an electrician came but could not find any issue, also during the checks another couple of guest came by to say they also had been feeling light electrical discharge from the tap of the basin.

I am an Electrical Engineer, I personally have no doubt the issue is very serious, life threatening, also the bungalow lack some standard safety features (like providing earth connection to the metal elements of the bungalow like the shower hose, tap of the basin and so on).

Besides all that, no compensation was provided to us, and still no explanation and no feed back regarding whether or not the issue was fixed!

By now the only thing I could do is is to lodging a complaint to the police (Carabinieri)

About all the rest : well the location is superb. I have been there many times.. I love...

The sea view spots are occupied by the bungalows so you will camp in the middle of the village. There you will find extremely dense pitches, neighbours all around at 1-2 meters distance, which is probably fine in a camper but terrible in a tent. It was hard to get any sleep before 1AM, especially because the luxurious branding of this place seems to make it very attractive to people with little regard for the well-being of others (conservatives), and while nighttime rules may exist they are not at all enforced. If you don't mind being kept awake by n-word (hard r!) containing convos from a group of fifty something Austrian kiters or freestyle rap from 18 year old German boys neighbours this is the place for you! When I was checking out I caught a glimpse of the boss telling off an employee before getting back into her armoured benz (major organised crime vibe lol).

The staff had a bit of an aloof vibe and the stickers they make you put on the car are so cheap they need to be scraped off with an ice scraper because they fall apart.

Otherwise good showers, obviously great location, good bar, expensive but well stocked shop and a very friendly teenager who drives you to your pitch in...

We initially wanted to camp in our tent, but the weather (mid October) wouldn't let us. So we ended up renting a mobile home (altho I don't understand the "mobile" part in the name) for 2 nights. Very clean and all you need. However, the ac doesn't heat at all, despite the heat mode it clearly should have (sun symbol), so we had to sleep in 14 deg Celsius in our sleeping bags. The bathrooms/showers for camping guests are gross. Very dirty and there's no roof above the shower area, so you have to hang your clothes in the rain while you shower. We were quite glad we got that house with shower and toilet inside.

The staff in the restaurant seemed to be overwhelmed by the amount of work they had since they offered to bring us some parmigiano with our food but didn't return before we were done eating. They also appeared to have trouble breathing, because they were unable to cover their noses with the mask.

The market on the premises is very, very basic. The prices for tent camping are okay, at least for October. I wouldn't want to go camping in summer when you pay nearly 50€ a night to pitch your tent on a parking spot...
