Tiki Beach Bar — Restaurant in Lu Palau/Palau

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The staff were friendly and welcoming. The playlist was absolutely amazing – the kind of music that just makes you want to get up and dance. Our kids absolutely loved the children’s pizza! We had salats and soba - IT was fresh and delicious- I didn’t expected so tasty and healthy food from small beach restaurant. We went there for lunch and it was all nice and good till my boyfriend wanted to finish eating his burger and had it in his hand. The waitress came and started clearing up the table taking his plate too even though he said excuse and was not done eating at all. Not very polite waitress (young, black hair). Wir würden wirklich gerne eine positive Bewertung schreiben, wenn man aber noch am selben Abend im Krankenhaus landet, fällt einem das schwer.

Wir waren dort am Strand und sind in der Bar Tiki zum Snack zu Mittag eingekehrt. Die Pommes waren wirklich sehr gut, das Personal nett und motiviert und grundsätzlich hat wirklich alles gepasst.

Einziger Dorn im Auge: Der Cheeseburger. Mein Freund hat ihn bestellt, gegessen und leider wenige Stunden später Anzeichen einer Lebensmittelvergiftung gezeigt, weshalb er ins Krankenhaus gebracht werden musste. Dort wurde im Blut ein Bakterium gefunden, das laut Ärzten hier im Sommer öfter vorkommt, wenn Lebensmittel ungenügend gekühlt/zubereitet werden und deshalb verderben. Natürlich können wir nicht zu 100% sagen, dass der Burger schuld dran war, allerdings haben wir sonst nichts "Verdächtiges" gegessen bzw. nur Dinge, die wir beide gegessen haben, und mir ging es immer gut. Somit können wir einfach auf den Burger schließen, den nur er an diesem Tag gegessen hat.

Wirklich schade, dass wir dort eine so negative Erfahrung...
