We are a couple who spent 4 nights with breakfast, between 06.04.2018-10.04.2018. We arrived at 12 a.m.but for early check-in, the cost is 20 EUR - so we waited 2 hours. After that, we received the card to acces in the room and lift. In the lift was the first surprise - we remained stuck in the elevator-even though the card on the display- the elevator don't take orders and the doors didn't open. Finally a housekeeper who called the elevator, used her card and took us to the 5 floor. In front the room door - the second surprise , the door didn't open. There we realized that the card was not activated ! ( after 2 hours of waiting we were given a not activated card. OK.. we was very tired and the only think we want, was to rest, to sleep. After 20 minutes another surprise , the fire alarm started to ring with a GREAT noise and wake up us from sleep and scared us. I called the reception . The receptionist said the technician doing tests ??? The tests during half on hour - so we can't sleep anymore. In the end the last surprise - I lost the number... Because we will leave very early to the airport( 4 a.m.) I asked them to give us the last breakfast "to go". They said " no problem" the breakfast "to go" will be ready to give us at leaving. You believe they have respected their promise ? No, no breakfast "to go" were prepaired to us. The receptionist has offered to buy for us something. To buy is much said - is a mini market in hotel. In a bag he puts a few slices of dried bread, 2 jem box , knifes and forks, 2 biscuites. I don't want to buy someone something for me. We paied the breakfast. We need only 2 sandwiches- which can eat in bus on the way to airport - not jam to smear on bread with knifes and forks - on the bus . We are very disappointed. The hotel it's really nice, the rooms are very comfortable, but is not enough for a...
Read moreI visited milan for Valentines weekend with my partner and I was very disappointed with the taxi called for us by hotel reception. We had a reservation valentines evening, at a restaurant, that we had to cancel because the taxi tried to scam us.
We ordered a taxi that evening because the metro was on strike and we had no idea about this until we landed.
When we got into the taxi (called by the hotel) the meter was at €15 already. As we pulled out of the hotel, we noticed this, and asked the taxi driver to turn around and drop us back to the hotel. By the time he dropped us back to the hotel, the meter was now at €18, despite us only being in the taxi for 2 minutes maximum.
He said this was “the law” in Italy and that they start the meter from when the hotel calls them. I opened the door and said I wanted to talk to the staff in the lobby, because this clearly was not fair. I was willing to pay something to him, but €18 should have been the total of the taxi when dropped to the destination. It should have never been the starting price of our journey.
When I went into reception to help us, I was told that in Italy this does happen. If this is genuinely the case, which I don’t think it is because I heard different opinions, hotel staff should notify people of this when ordering a taxi. This is not normal in most countries and some taxis are clearly dishonest and will take advantage of people. We were completely blind-sighted and our valentines was ruined.
If you ever stay here, and the metro is not working or you need to order a taxi, do not order from hotel reception. Order from an app like uber or free now.
I am grateful to the lady who tried to help us in reception, but I still feel like she could have helped us more, and been a lot more empathetic. Super disappointed.
Other than that the hotel is beautiful and the location is great, I can’t fault it but please!!! Don’t order a taxi from reception because you might...

As loyal Hilton Honors members, we selected this hotel for a one-night stay, and the convenience factor was truly outstanding. If you’re visiting Milan for city exploration or need fast access to transport, this hotel is an excellent choice.
Unbeatable Location for City Access
The location is the major highlight: the hotel is literally steps from the Villa San Giovanni metro link. This meant we had quick and easy access to major attractions like the stunning Duomo Square and the historic Grand Galleria Vittorio Emanuele (Italy’s oldest shopping mall). It’s also perfectly situated for travelers, being only 12 km from Linate Airport.
Thoughtful Amenities and Perks
Despite our short visit, we appreciated the range of thoughtful amenities available. The free WiFi was reliable, and the availability of an all-day restaurant and a handy 24-hour shop ensures you can get what you need anytime. Guests also benefit from access to the fitness center and available gated and secured underground parking.
While we didn't use it, the hotel boasts significant event space for up to 850 guests, suggesting it's well-equipped to handle large groups and business travelers as well as tourists.
A Crucial Tip for Arrival
While navigation via Google Maps worked fine, the gated entrance itself was somewhat confusing to approach and navigate. Take your time when arriving at the property, particularly when dealing with the secure access points for the parking or main drive.
Summary
For both short stays and longer visits focused on using the city's public transport, this hotel offers unbeatable convenience and practical perks, coupled with the security of gated parking. It’s an ideal base for exploring Milan without the hassle of staying directly in the...
