Tyrrhenum Residence/Room & Breakfast — Hotel in Monte di Procida

This hotel is perfect if you want to be in Monte di Procida. We were in Italy for a wedding that had several events in the Monte di Procida area, so it made sense for us to stay there. It's definitely a local, neighborhood- type area with not a lot of major tourist attractions, if that's what you want. But if you want to be close to beautiful Via Panoramica and get a real feel for this part of Italy, this is a good place to stay. We had rented a car (this area is very hilly and not very walkable at great distances) and were able to safely park in their gated area. The room was clean, on the small side and a bit sparse, but not in a bad way. Just don't expect a ton of fancy amenities. The bathroom was surprisingly large. The service was pleasant and friendly. They speak enough English if you don't speak Italian. If we needed to stay in this area again, we would not hesitate to stay here, especially for the price;...

We were able to book this great place while we were in Italy at the last moment and it was charming. It is in the middle of a neighborhood so not the most conveniently located but we were able to walk anywhere we needed to go.||The staff/owners were very personable and willing to help us with all of our requests||including driving us to the bank trying to help us get cash||The room was just what we needed basic but with lots of room as we were traveling with a toddler. Stayed here for 6 nights with a group of 10 to visit family locally. We were welcomed with coffee, warm sfogliatelles and croissants every morning. The recently renovated rooms were spacious, modern and super clean. Some of the rooms offered a kitchen and dining area. The area was centrally located for our purposes with views of the sea just a few steps away. The restaurant across the street was very convenient to grab some dinner.
