Residence Felicioni — Hotel in Roseto degli Abruzzi

I'm staying at this hotel with my family right now. And the positive thing is that the hotel is really close to the beach, it has a pool, the room has a small kitchen so you can actually make your own food. And this was not expensive for us for a long weekend!! ||||But I did expect to have the room cleaned every day - like any other hotel?!?! I did expect to have enough towels for all of us! And I did expect to have enough sheets for the beds that we need to use. And since we don't have enough of this, nor toilet paper I did expect someone to be at the reception for us to help us?!?||||Over all it's not a clean hotel, I'm not super happy about the service. But, we are not here for the hotel, we're here for the beaches. And it's close, very convenient. And it was quite cheep. So it's totally dependent on what you want. Also, it is nice for the kids, absolutely! But they should seriously consider to clean up and fix it a bit! Then this hotel wouldn't get any...

Residence Felicioni resumes the way things work (or rather, don't work) in Italy. We are talking of a very nice structure, certainly not old, I would say it was built in the 90s, wonderfully located right on the beach, and yet so run-down, poorly managed and consequently poorly maintained. The apartments are spacious but they lack pretty much everything, from basic cleaning products (which you certainly do need if you stay for a week...) to wi-fi connection. There is a TV, but it's tiny, extremely old (did they buy them second hand when they've built the place??) and cabled in the most unfashionable way with dozens of visible wires criss-crossing their (long) paths. Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel à l'occasion d'un tournoi de basket en juillet 2014.||Il est idéalement situé, face à la mer et proche de la rue commerçante principale, des bars et restaurants. Le parking est vaste pour ceux qui y viennent en voiture et l'hôtel est proche de la gare pour ceux qui voyagent en avion. Piscine agréable mais fermée de 13.30 à 16.00, difficile à accepter quand il fait chaud ! On dispose de sièges à la plage privée gratuitement. Plage publique juste en face de l'hôtel. ||Petit déjeuner un peu pauvre et repas style cantine scolaire. Pas mauvais mais un peu basique. ||Personnel de réception pas sympathique. Par contre, franco (l'homme à tout faire) était vraiment charmant ainsi que la jeune fille du bar. Les glaces y sont excellentes. ||En une semaine, aucun passage des femmes de ménages. Les essuies sont à échanger à la réception. ||Il faut plus considérer cet endroit comme une résidence de vacances qu'un hôtel car les services n'y sont pas. Mais idéal pour y séjourner sans repas et en étant là que pour dormir. La région offre suffisamment de beaux atouts pour ne pas y rester non stop. Beaucoup de restaurant excellents et pas chers du tout et possibilité de faire des courses au magasin proche et déjeuner dans sa chambre. Frigo congélateur et cuisine en bon état. ||En demandant une chambre avec vue sur la mer, le bruit du train n'est pas dérangeant. ||Dans cette région, le train longe la côte et donc si on veut être en bord de mer, il faut composer avec le train quel que...
