Residence Cësa Ladina — Hotel in Salten-Schlern - Salto-Sciliar

We stayed in Cesa Ladina for two weeks in beginning of September 2015. We were three adults (couple with an adult son) in apartment #7 (Monte Pana). Hosts are wonderful - relaxed, reachable, welcoming, always with a (true!) smile and excellent English. The apartment is very comfortable with highest quality finish and equipment, it was literally sparkling clean. It looks even better than in the online pictures - beautifully wood designed with a thought on every design detail - fabrics, furniture, kitchen equipment and content - really rare level of perfection. Most important - it is full of light with a spectacular view of the Sassolungo - wake up every morning looking at this view is a gift, There is a spacious accessible garage in the building with an elevator to the apartments. In the garage level there is also a ski and laundry room with (free!) washing machines and dryer. We had also a washing machine in the apartment. I find it very convenient to have accessible washing facilities like we had here, as it allows us to pack light. WiFi is (again free!) easily accessible with good availability all over. Kitchen equipment is new and worked perfectly - dishwasher, microwave oven, stove and toaster oven (on demand). Beds were very comfortable and bedrooms have lots of storage and very well organized. Bathrooms are spotless with bidet (who is using it?) in both and strong shower stream with hot water in any hour of the day. Towels are changed twice a week, which is great and not often done in other apartment we stayed in the past. The living room is well organized with space to many people, I'm sure that kids will love it - specially the cute niche below the window. There are two TVs - one in the living room and another in one of the bedrooms, we connected our laptop to the one in the living room. There is a good heating system, and the windows isolation is excellent. It is really an apartment with a thoughtful perfection on every detail. The location is close to town and quiet. The rooms are immaculate and comfortable. The owner, Miriam, makes sure that everything supports a wonderful holiday experience. By booking directly with Cesa Ladina we were able to pick our room and better plan our time in the mountains. Amazing accommodations for a ski trip in the dolomites! We were a group of eight people sharing two of the big apartments, and we loved it. We were very pleased with the location, size, cleanliness, and the quality of the apartments. There is around 400 meters to the nearest small ski lift and escalators going to another bigger lift. The host Miriam and her husband Alex are very sweet and helpfull people. We had some small things that needed to be fixed in the apartments during our stay, and they came by very fast after we notified them about it. They also have good recommendations for where to eat out, as well as upcoming events and activities going on in the local community. We are already planning to come back to Ortisei and live with Miriam and Alex...
