Tourist trap, not good food, the rush you to order with a menu with to many options to choose from so they confuse you to order the basic thing that cost them nothing with the highest profit. I have been to Italy Six out of the last ten years, each 2.5 weeks on vacation, traveling through it the country. Ate at at least 60 restaurants across Sicily, Southern, Central and Northern Italy, and never had a waiter or waitress tell us as the give us the bill that the tip is not included in the bill. Well I was told this twice in 10 seconds before I paid with my card. They give you a free pineapple, nicely decorated saying it's for free, and a gift, so the make you feel bad for not tipping. I paid 90EUR for one piece of chicken cutlet with frozen cheap fries, a plain spaghetti dish, another spaghetti dish, one bottle of water, fries side order, and a salad appetizer. The appetizer was one small ball of mozzarella with come walnuts, grapes, blueberries, and some salad, for 17EUR. Mind you this is a fast food restaurant made to look like a nice restaurant. I regretted my decision. Steer away. You will be ripped off. And if the owner or staff asked to delete this because it offended him and his staff, he should think about changing his business model, making the food a normal price with any restaurant in Italy and tell the waiters to stop rushing everyone to order. You have a bad culture. The assistants are in actually very nice, not the waiters, based on what I told you. One to our order, after coming to the table 3 times, one more before the new guy, he said please, meaning please order, now. Again the menu confuses you with too many dishes with everything being expensive, forcing you to order a basic dish that is still 26EUR that cost v them...

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, IF YOU DON’T WANT TO GET A WELL DONE STEAK FOR 36 EUROS AND GET THREATENED BY POLICE!!!!!

Came with my boyfriend due to google reviews, but I have an idea why the reviews are so good.

We ordered steak and pasta. Positions came at considerable different timings (pasta came first, steak after 5-7 minutes). Pasta was alright but definitely not worth the money, because in other restaurants in the area we got bigger portions, cheaper price and tastier pasta overall.

The steak came well done, even though my boyfriend asked for medium rare, the waiter agreed from the first look and offered an exchange. After more time steak came, waiter asked to check and told himself that it’s the same well done that came before, went to the kitchen and came back telling that cooks won’t remake it again. We decided to cancel the steak.

After leaving a bad review, manager of the restaurant came and started gaslighting us that he is a cook and that it’s actually medium rare, however after showing him pictures from the their own menu and from the internet he just agreed and went away (unfortunately we didn’t take pictures, but there were 0 redness both times).

After my boyfriend left a bad review, while we were finishing our wine, the manager came and demanded, that before closing the bill, my boyfriend had to follow him to his office to take a picture of my boyfriends documents so he can call the police. (Interesting what they would have told him at the office😁).

After my boyfriend called police by himself the manager who threatened us had hidden and other managers came to us trying to deescalate the situation.

There were no problems closing the bill and leaving the place after we finished...

Great location,however the food quality is an absolut HORROR. The service is just lala. I really don't get how they have such a high rating.

I ordered a carbonara. It was too salty and I strongly feel that the ingredients are not the freshest, and absolutely of low quality - I mean this is the worst carbonara that I've ever had. I live in Germany and they do a better job than this restaurant.

I only ate two spoons of it and as my friends and I are all finished, I told the waitress that she can take the carbonara away too. I told her about how I think of it and she said 'I'll see what we can do about it'.

She brought me a dessert card and I ordered a panna cotta, which, in the end we got the bill for it. The panna cotta was also bland with too much gelatine and too little cream with few flavor.

So the food is bad, and the compesation I got was to pay for more bad food. Never again!

To what the owners replied: yes I didn't mention the fruit plate for free, because other tables got them too. And it's just rude of you to assume that I was not hungry. We ordered 5 dishes for 6 people, one of us ordered only a wine because she wanted to taste the food first before ordering anything, cuz she had bad experience before. And she DIDN'T ORDER. The young men in our group had so much hunger but everyone tried my pasta and said NO. You can say whatever you want but sorry, I've been to so many restaurant including michellin and you don't tell me that I'm not hungry when your food didn't...
