Muy decepcionados con nuestra estadía – no lo recomendamos

Nos hospedamos en el Hotel Le Mimose del 7 al 11 de julio y fue una experiencia muy desagradable. Durante toda nuestra estancia hubo ruidos constantes de construcción dentro del mismo hotel, con martillazos que empezaban desde las 8:00 a.m. y se escuchaban literalmente a través de las paredes de la habitación.

Solicitamos un cambio de habitación pensando que mejorarían las cosas, pero el problema continuó exactamente igual. La recepcionista nos aseguró que hablaría con el manager para buscar una solución, pero nunca lo hizo. Sentimos que nuestra queja fue completamente ignorada y que al personal no le importaba en absoluto el bienestar de los huéspedes.

La situación llegó al punto en que, por la imposibilidad de descansar en la habitación, tuvimos que dormir en la zona de la piscina, envueltos en toallas, porque era el único lugar donde el ruido no era insoportable.

Además, las habitaciones tienen muchísima humedad y un olor muy fuerte y desagradable, lo que hace aún peor la experiencia. Resulta muy incómodo y antihigiénico estar en un espacio cerrado con ese ambiente.

Se debería advertir al cliente que hay una construcción dentro del hotel para que uno pueda tomar una decisión informada. Fue imposible descansar.

Muy lejos de lo que uno espera al hospedarse en un hotel. No volveríamos ni lo recomendaríamos a nadie que busque descanso, comodidad y un mínimo de atención al cliente.

🇬🇧 Very disappointing stay – not recommended

We stayed at Hotel Le Mimose from July 7th to 11th and had a very unpleasant experience. Throughout our stay, there was constant construction noise inside the hotel, with hammering starting as early as 8:00 a.m., clearly audible through the walls of our room.

We asked to change rooms hoping it would improve the situation, but the noise was just as bad in the new room. The receptionist told us she would speak to the manager to find a solution, but that turned out to be a lie. Our complaint was completely ignored, and it felt like nobody cared about the guests’ comfort.

The situation was so bad that we ended up sleeping by the pool with towels, as it was the only place where the noise wasn’t unbearable.

To make things worse, the rooms are extremely humid and have a strong, unpleasant smell, which made the stay even more uncomfortable and unhygienic.

Guests should be informed that there is ongoing construction inside the hotel so they can make an informed decision. It was absolutely impossible to get any rest.

Far from what you expect when staying in a hotel. We wouldn’t return and don’t recommend it to anyone seeking rest, comfort, or even basic customer service.

🇮🇹 Soggiorno molto deludente – sconsigliato

Abbiamo soggiornato all’Hotel Le Mimose dal 7 all’11 luglio ed è stata un’esperienza molto negativa. Durante tutto il soggiorno ci sono stati rumori costanti dovuti a lavori di costruzione all’interno dell’hotel, con martellate che iniziavano già alle 8:00 del mattino e si sentivano chiaramente attraverso le pareti della stanza.

Abbiamo chiesto di cambiare camera sperando in un miglioramento, ma la nuova stanza era esattamente uguale in quanto a rumori. La receptionist ci ha detto che avrebbe parlato con il manager per trovare una soluzione, ma era una bugia. La nostra lamentela è stata completamente ignorata e abbiamo avuto l’impressione che a nessuno importasse il benessere degli ospiti.

La situazione era talmente insostenibile che abbiamo finito per dormire in piscina, avvolti negli asciugamani, perché era l’unico posto dove il rumore non era assordante.

Inoltre, le camere sono molto umide e hanno un odore forte e sgradevole, il che rende il soggiorno ancora più spiacevole e poco igienico.

Si dovrebbe avvisare il cliente che ci sono lavori in corso all’interno dell’hotel, così da poter decidere consapevolmente se prenotare o meno. È stato...

At first when we had booked it I was a but sceptical. I didn't like the colours, what if they had showed the nicest pictures and so on.||||As soon as we arrived at the hotel I felt that we would have a great stay here.||First of all the hotel is located right by a bus stop so that made it so easy for us coming with the local bus arst for 3.1€ each.||Then we saw that the pool was being cleaned every night. ||The staff is very friendly and helpful. They advised us on which beaches to see, which transport alternatives there is and helped us book a boat trip. ||A big plus was also that we could rent bikes for 5€ per day.||The breakfast had a lot to offer so we did not have to eat the same thing every day. I also loved all the cakes that they served!||The rooms was clean and the ac lovely on this hot summer of 2018.||The hotel is located about 15 min walk from the town centre, but that was a good thing for us since we found two great restaurants near by and then also had walking distance to Li Mori.||||I would definitely...

It’s really disappointing that I have to write this review, as we had such a lovely time at the hotel itself. When I initially lost my passport, the hotel kindly issued us with a voucher as we were unsure if I’d be able to make the holiday. My partner stayed the full week, and I was able to join for the last four days. This meant there was still money left from the voucher, as only one person stayed for the full week and one for a shorter stay.

At checkout, both the lady at reception and the manager confirmed that the amount left over was around £400 and assured us we would receive an updated voucher for this balance. However, when I chased this up afterwards, the hotel refused to issue the voucher and have effectively kept the £400.

It’s such a shame, as our time at the hotel was enjoyable, but to be promised something and then have the hotel go back on their word feels dishonest and unfair. Unfortunately, this experience has left us feeling...
