We stayed for 5 nights in a lake view apartment. Beautiful location, amazing views! ||The room itself was plenty big enough for three adults and one child. The room was split into two halves with wardrobes. It had a bathroom with a shower and a double bed at one end. The other end housed the kitchenette, dining table and the two single beds. This led out onto a large sunny balcony. ||The room was immaculately clean. Beds were comfortable, linen soft. ||There were two electric hobs and a slightly smaller than normal fridge. There were plenty of plates, bowls and cooking materials. All perfectly serviceable for 5 nights self catering. ||Remember to bring your own towels as they are not provided. ||Downstairs was a small but perfectly formed pool, even in July there was no shortage of sun-loungers. ||There were even spare sun loungers to take across the road to the lake. ||The bar had a good selection of drinks and they were very reasonably priced. ||The owner and staff were all very friendly and welcoming and Chuck the dog was gorgeous. ||The nearest decent supermarket that we found was De Beni which was a 15-20 min drive away.||Torri Del Benaco was the nearest town. Lots of lovely places to eat and drink along the lake front. ||I had a wonderful stay and I would definitely recommend it to others. ||Most reviews are on booking.com if you wondered why there aren’t...
Read moreWe had a studio apartment on the third floor and it was perfect for a couple or a couple with a child. There was a fantastic unobstructed view of the lake and mountains from the balcony, we ate most of our meals on the balcony enjoying the view. The kitchen was decently equipped for simple cooking with a half size fridge, 2 burner stovetop, microwave and electric kettle. The apartment had a double bed and a single that doubled as a couch. Good, free wifi and a tv in the apartment. There is a pool and terrace for the guests and access to a rocky beach across the road, the hotel has su chairs you can borrow so you don't have to sit n the rocks. Breakfast is available in the dining room if you do not feel like making your own and there is a bar near the terrace. There is a very small lift. Free onsite parking. The main road runs past the hotel and can be noisy but the view more than compensates and it is quiet at night, no problems sleeping. Torri del benaco is about 2 km from the hotel, easy to reach and a great place for dinner and an evening strolling around and listening to music. Beat of all, the price for our good sized studio was only 65 euros a day, but you do need to bring your own towels or pay extra...
Read moreLovely view and a nice family run place right next to the lake. Many people talk about the view but our room was allocated at the side of the place seriously restricting the view!! However the kitchen is very poorly equipped for a family. Only a 2 ring electric hob, no grill, toaster or microwave. Basic accommodation. Tired decor. No towels unless you pay extra!! Air con in the bedroom but you have to pay for that too. A lot of necessaries that you get at other places are seriously missing. Debating if I would stay again!!!! Costing a fortune on eating out which defeats the object of self catering. If you are looking for better value I really think staying half board or b n b at a local hotel is a better option...
