Hotel Giardino — Hotel in Unione dei comuni della Versilia

Hotel Giardino was very nice and much much better than I expected. The hotel is surrounded by a peaceful walled garden with comfortable private seating. There is also a roof terrace which we liked to sit on after coming back from the beach in the late evening sun. ||Our room was really big and bathroom was great. There was a large walk in shower and the towels were changed every day too. The whole hotel was very very clean. ||Lido di Camaiore has excellent beaches, most of which are private, however, there are 2 public beaches which are very clean and free to use. The closest is probably 5-8 mins walk from the hotel and the second is 10-12 mins walk along the promenade.If you go to the bottom public beach there is a coop shop on the avenue directly back from the beach so you can buy some drinks and food for lunch if you do not want to buy from a beach bar. If you do not want to walk, the hotel has loads of bicycles which guests are allowed to use for free. We used the bikes every day to get around on which was ideal. ||||The staff at the hotel were wonderful people and very kind. They printed off our flight boarding pass for us and when we had to leave to go to the airport one of the gentlemen who works at the hotel picked us up at 6am and took us to the train station in his Fiat Panda :) ||||We did not have dinner at the hotel but the breakfast was delicious. Plenty of choice and tasty Italian breakfast cakes. The coffee was great too- from a proper machine and the staff were happy to refill my Americano so we could sit in the garden for a few minutes before heading to the beach in the morning.||||If we visit Lido di Camaiore again we will probably come back to Hotel Giardino.||||Thanks for a...

We stayed at this hidden jewel for two weeks. It is an amazing place with more than 70 years of heritage in the hotel business. It has a beautiful garden and is very chid friendly. Since it is a family business the entire personnel to start with the owners until the cleaning ladies are amazingly service minded and caring. Alessandra which is one of the owners and handling mostly the reception takes care of your daly needs if you have any questions or need for directions. As well as her husband Silvano which also is amazing cook takes care of your stomach. We can recommend you the option of half or full pension. The rooms are super clean and up-to-date. Quando sono giunto a fine giugno appena ho posato i piedi mi sono sentito in paradiso. Ecco forse suggerirei di aggiungere un nome in più Hotel Giardino Paradiso. Accolto bene sin dal primo giorno con i drink di benvenuto e non mi aspettavo il pranzo visto che ero giunto in struttura in ritardo per i mezzi. Si vede la conduzione familiare sia nel portamento (caratteristica predominante da chi probabilmente gestisce da anni la struttura), sia nella preparazione dei piatti squisiti e adatti a tutte le esigenze. Colazioni splendide e digeribili all'istante. La terrazza che sovrasta l'hotel è qualcosa di eccezionale e fantastico. Si sentiva un'ebrezza sempre fresca in qualsiasi orario anche nelle giornate calorose. Tutto intorno circondato dal Giardino con ogni gente di pianta e fiore, con la fontana dalla quale sgorgava acqua fresca che ricordava quella di un celebre film. La padrona di casa due volte al giorno si prestava a tenere in maniera encomiabile ogni tipo di pianta e fiore con amore. Probabilmente anche un modo per passare il tempo e tenersi in forma e giovali. Concludo perché ho già scritto troppo ringraziando le ragazze: Luisa, Eleonora, Asia, Giulia (qualcuna l'avrò scordata), per avermi trattato e coccolato come un re. Le ragazze del servizio pulizia: Ilaria e Beatrice sempre gentili che con i loro servigi, facevano trovare la stanza "tutti i giorni" pulita e ordinata (degno della loro persona, brave, belle e simpatiche). Ringrazio il cuoco e i suoi assistenti per aver deliziato e "sopportato" le mie abitudini alimentari. Infine non per meno importanza Alessandra sempre gentile e disponibile ti faceva sentire in famiglia anche se soggiornavi dalla prima volta, come nel mio caso. Non capisco le recensioni negative o i commenti dispregiativi, forse frutto d'invidia di qualche hotel vicino che si camuffa con nomi fittizzi. Meriterebbe la 4 stella per essere di 3 stelle per tutto, e la stella Michelin alla cucina. Non so come funzioni.
