Okay so I get that having a bad experience can happen but this seemed more than that. My and my family decided to have some food and whereas other people were welcomed and asked to have a seat, I had to go ask the owner if we could have a table. After handing out the menus, we waited for 30min until someone took our orders. We were ready to order after 5 and none of the servers paid attention. We waited almost 1.5 HOURS for our food to arrive, and not the main food. I am talking about bruschetta! Other tables who came after us received theirs much quicker. Whereas other tables received complimentary bread, the servers just ignored our table. The food was decent, the pizza not really the best. Since we were vegetarian the chef was kind enough to make some speghetti al pomodoro which was amazing. We felt very unwelcomed and the long wait was really not nice. After receiving our food I requested olive oil and pepper. Never was given to me.
Take my review with a grain of salt as your experience will be completely different but I do wanna state that as an Indian family we felt very unhappy with our time spent there and I won't be recommending this place to anyone.
Edit: Owner of the Restaurant claims the review is probably for another restaurant. Trust me it was La Lampara, we were sitting outside next to the glass. There were 3 servers i remember, 2 young male adults and one young female adult. Only 1 male server spoke english, the other ones didn't speak english at all and always had to convey our requests to him. The owner denying it so quickly just tells me that they don't care about what happened or improving their service. They just care...
Read moreEverybody can make a mistake, even when taking an order in English, however, what would be really nice is an apology when it came to paying the bill which was by local standards quite expensive. Lesson 1, repeat the order taken. Lesson 2 if it seems that the customer ordered the starter with the main course, and one main course is missing question that. Lesson 3, check on the customer if everything is OK after 5 minutes. Not difficult really. Food mediocre, portions small( octopus again). Overpriced. Don't know why we bothered....

Ho rifiutato il conto, tot 80 €. .1 pizza ai frutti di mare, 1 birra 750ml,1 patatine, 2 contorni.. 1 bicchiere di Chianti classico, 1 bott acqua, ridimensionato il conto, perché mi sembrava esagerato..... rispetto ad altri locali, di eguale qualità... ci siamo allontanati e pensato, mai più!! se non mi fossi rifiutata, avrei pagato 16€ in più, ma è stato il sentirsi truffati in modo palese a farmi sentire...
