We stayed for 2 nights in August 2008. ||||The rooms are fairly traditional rather than contemporary and the bathrooms were a little tired looking but spotlessly clean, as were the rooms.||||Reasonable sized rooms, not huge but plenty big enough for 2 people to move about in, and the balcony was lovely overlooking the garden, with fantastic wooden doors rather than UPVC.||||The weather was very hot and sunny so the individually controlled air conditioning within the rooms was essential!||||Breakfast was the usual Italian standard i.e. cakes and biscuits, though a toaster was provided. Coffee was good.||||Ideal location for the town - a 10min stroll at most. Plenty of parking on front, and even supplied a hose-pipe so the car got a wash!||||Just be careful in the grassed garden - we spent 10min in the garden on the chairs and my husband got bit several times by bugs from the nearby river! Own fault for not having...
Read moreWe stayed here for one night late in June. Rooms are small but perfectly fine. Small design problem with the bathroom - shower leaked heavily onto the floor, very light towels ect not sufficient to mop it up. A bit of mildew on the shower seams but not too bad. Otherwise very clean. There is a pedestal fan in the room which is a great idea - other hotels should follow suit for when AC can't cope. Breakfast fell a bit short - poor coffee, watered down juice, no stewed fruit - but I have had worse. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from town and there is a lovely garden out the back. Wifi is fee - no coverage in rooms but you can easily go to the passage and the reception is good. We stayed as part of a cycle tour and I would recommend it for...

Sadly, while some of the nice touches of a resort hotel remain the facilities are now badly in need of updating. In particular the bathrooms are old fashioned, there is no air con and the wi-fi in our room was so weak as to be virtually non-existent. Brisighella itself has a few good restaurants and enough to keep the tourist entertained for a few hours but be aware that most things of interest are a stiff 10-15 minute uphill walk from...
