Residenza Le Batesine — Hotel in Verona

Absolutely divine little hotel set just outside of the hustle and bustle of the city centre. A little sanctuary with beautifully tended gardens that are peaceful to relax in. The pool is open 24hours a day with plenty of sunbeds and is a good size. Beach towels are provided in your room. ||The city centre is reached by the number 13 bus in the town centre (or bus 90 in the evening) and stops at the train station and the arena to start your exploring. Purchase bus tickets from the local tabachi across the road from the bus stop for cheaper price €1.30 and do not forget to validate your tickets (this is the same if you are catching a train as they check and you will end up with a hefty fine if you dont validate). ||The room was very tastefully decorated with a comfortable bed and a variety of beverages and snacks stocked in the mini bar. The shower was brilliant with a good water pressure and towels were refreshed daily. ||Donatella was an amazing host who was welcoming (rescued us from being dropped off by taxi on wrong street) and couldn't do enough to service our needs. The breakfast was incredible with freshly baked cakes every morning, fresh fruits, breads, meats & cheeses as well as cereals, yoghurts and cooked breakfast also available. We had such a relaxing stay at Residenza La Batesine. ||||Donatella is so welcoming and friendly, she really makes your stay extra special. You can tell she really goes above and beyond to make her guests have the best stay possible. ||||Her breakfasts as well were outstanding, there was such a wide variety and everything was delicious. Our room was gorgeous and comfortable, it really felt like luxury. ||||The location is great because you are just a short bus ride out of the centre of Verona, meaning you get all the benefits of being close to the city, but with the added extras of having a pool and a relaxing atmosphere to come back to. ||||The pool area was spotless and very relaxing, you feel like you're in a little oasis. Just spent 3 days with Donatella.|What a delight that was.||La Batesine in San Massimo 2 miles from centre of Verona, an easy bus ride on route 13 by day or 90 later at night OR taxi. Buy 10 bus tickets for group travel €10 at the bus station or a tobacconist.||Lovely air conditioned room, comfortable bed, fridge, safety deposit box, free bottled water each day.||Large gardens & patio, pool, shower, loungers.
