Wonderful place. We were received by a lovely young lady that speaks a good English and a young waiter also good English speaker. They were so kind helping us to chose our meals and were always available when we need anything. The food was delicious. We ate a papardeli and a salad that were very good. To finish we had a desert I can't describe but it's made of pistachios and ice cream and is perfect. At the end as a courtesy the lovely lady gave us as a courtesy some kind of sorbet to try. Sabato sera voglia di uscire e di pizza fuori porta. Figli ormai abbastanza grandi in giro con amici io e mia moglie decidiamo di andare alla Vecchia Lira. Prenotazione telefonica 20 minuti prima. Una bella sorpresa. Accolti molto gentilmente dal personale in entrata, locale abbastanza affollato ma non caotico. Ci accomodiamo su un tavolo davanti al bancone dei pizzaioli. Personale giovanile e molto gentile e preparato. Il continuo via vai dei camerieri tra cucina per servire tavoli, che sono sempre ordinati e precisi nei movimenti, non arrecano alcun disturbo ai commensali. Ordiniamo io pizza del giorno con pasta integrale cotta molto bene come piace a me e con sopra mozzarella di bufala e monte veronese, con chiodini e dopo cottura fettine sottili di pancetta stese come prosciutto e prezzemolo tritato molto fine. Devo dire gustosissima e delicata. Mia moglie insalatona parmigiana in una mega terrina in ceramica. Dunque abbondante e molto buona con vari tipi di verdure crude e parmigiano a fettine fine. Great pizza. But was completely astonished when after making a reservation they still make wait the guest who booked and had to wait for people to leave to have a seat. Service was somehow decent but when we were leaving the laking of manners when I paid my bill left me speechless. I would recommend this place for the food but that's it.. Deserts... Well...
