The view of Mt Fuji is awesome!! This is the absolute highlight. Being able to enjoy sunrise and sunset from the comfort of our tent or outside on the platform was a one-of-a-kind experience. We stayed 3 nights and loved every minute.
Checking in was a breeze. I really like how sparkling clean and neat and well equipped the kitchen and bathroom is. The hot bathtub is excellent. Bought some good beef for the grill. Both the tent and the container had good air conditioning (heat/cool). If you have a car, getting there is no problem and the northern shore of the lake is quieter with better views of Fujisan. They provide bicycles for borrowing but we didn't use them.
The only part i found difficult to figure out was during the booking process - which tent we were getting. We got a standard tent "C", which was the bottom row. It's perfect cos there's only one tent in that row. All tents get great views anyway so no worries. There's some construction on the side but it didn't disturb us at all. Some reviews mentioned sound carrying across the tents; no doubt it's not sound-proof but we had no issues at all (even though i'm a light sleeper and there were kids staying in other tents).
There's quite a number of glamping experiences and I'm glad we got this one. Given the season we were there, we felt it was a good deal....
Read moreAmazing Views, Unpleasant Smell The location is beautiful and very clean, with spacious tents that offer a surprising level of comfort and even a touch of luxury. The view of the mountains is absolutely stunning and makes the stay very special. However, the biggest issue is the smell inside the tents. Depending on the weather—whether it’s very hot or rainy—the material of the tents releases a very strong odor, similar to burnt plastic. On some days it becomes so intense that it’s uncomfortable to stay inside for long periods, and it raises concerns about whether it could also be unhealthy. Other than this, everything was spotless and well maintained. If the problem with the smell is solved, this place would truly be an amazing...
Read moreExpect this to be a high end version of a tent with a kitchen and bathroom next to it. Read other comments about noise, well, this is a tent so it is what it is. It's good for people who probably won't do real camping and imho, this is as close to camping as i would do. Not much service and other facilities and you need to prepare your own food. They have bbq stove indoors and you can prep your own food by getting them from the super market before you check in. They are all the basic cooking utensils. We got convenience store food for breakfast. Excellent view of Mount Fuji. Beware that the road lead up to the camp is...
