Blanc Fuji is a hidden glamping gem, with a mix of japanese style architecture and french influence.
Facility - Rooms were very clean and the facility was really new. No issues with hot water as well. Rooms were provided with coffee/tea and coffee machines/kettles.
Location- The place feels private and it is in an off-the-beaten-path location. It works well if one is driving and has plenty of parking lots. It is definitely a location best accessible with a car.
Service - Their service is a little more DIY than what we are used to. The amenity kits are self-collected at the check-in counter and they did not make up the room for our second day. Though the staff were very sincere in their service and did their best to accommodate (they speak basic english).
Food - Now this was the best part. The food here was fantastic and was definitely one of the best i've had on my trip to Japan. Again, it is heavily inspired by french cuisine, and the chef did a great job with the giving the right portion, balance, and flavour to the food. If anything, I would pay just to eat here.
Overall, I would give this place a 5/5. Would definitely recommend others to come here if nature in luxury is your thing. For the higher price tag, I would say that it is good value for me, and the clean/new facility, quiet and serene location, and most of all, the food, were things that I found made the trip...
Read moreWe recently had the pleasure of staying at Blanc Fuji for two nights, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and truly looked after us in every way. Their warmth and hospitality were exceptional, and they were always eager to make sure we had everything we needed.
The accommodation itself was stunning—beautifully designed with everything you could ask for, and the warmth of the rooms was especially comforting. The highlight, however, was the onsen. It was incredibly easy to use, and the relaxation it provided after a day of sightseeing was unmatched. It felt like the perfect retreat.
For meals, we opted for the breakfast and dinner package, and both were fantastic. The Japanese breakfast was a delightful start to the day, and dinner was a culinary treat—each dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared.
Blanc Fuji is the ideal spot for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. Whether you’re traveling or simply in need of a few days of rest and relaxation, this place delivers on all fronts. We loved it so much that we are already planning to return! If you’re looking for a serene and welcoming escape with top-notch service and exceptional amenities, I cannot recommend this...
Read moreIt was a girls trip with four of us and stayed in late October. We drove from Shinjuku, Tokyo and took less than 2 hours, a perfect getaway from busy Tokyo to surrouner ourselves to mindfulness and peacefulness that just felt like a true luxury.
This villa-like accommodation featured everything you need to wind down, and the thoughtful touches were everywhere - full skincare sets, Refa hairdryer (godsend for girls with long hair!), and the most comfortable & softest pjs/room set wear I’ve ever tried on (I’d absolutely buy them if they sold it!)
It also comes with your own Löyly sauna, avialble anytime during your stay. Once you step outside, there is a water-tub and a little porch to enjoy a cool breeze on your skin, all within privacy. It was actually my first sauna experience and I absolutely loved it!
Our highlight was the dinner and breakfast. They use some local ingredients from Yamanashi prefecture and everything was so delicious and beautiful.
Honestly, there is nothing bad that I can think of. The stay is absolutely worth it and highly recommend if you are around Mt.Fuji/Yamanaka...
