We've been staying for 2 weeks at the Kuretake in as we have been working at Fuji Speedway. For me, it was the first stay in Japan and I heard that the countryside hotels are not comparable with western standard hotels. So, I expected the worst.||||The Kuretake-inn is very close to the highway but you can't hear it even if you open the window. You can reach the Gotemba center within 20 minutes by walking or by taxi for apprx. 1000 JPY / 7 EUR.||||The hotel itself is clean and offers rooms which seem to be "big" compared to other Japanese hotels. They also have a FreeFi connection which is ok for sending E-Mails, but not for Skyping.||The bathroom is small but effective. The water system is quite outdated (no mixing faucet, temperature is changing all the time).||The breakfast is mainly traditional Japanese. Miso soup, fish, rice, a variety of salads and fried "things". Western breakfast is restricted to toast, jam and Nutella.||||Only some of the hotel staff speaks fluently English what is no surprise at the countryside.||||In the closer area, there are many nice restaurants for...

She changed her mind and asked what kind of room did we want? A double room or a single room? However, when we asked to confirm, she suddenly said there’s no room??? Therefore , I decided to book directly from Jalan. There is no mention on the Internet that this program is only available to who lives in Japan. In the end, I still made a reservation on the Internet successfully. After the reservation was successful, the female staff at the counter still refused us to check in. The attitude of this female staff is the worst one of we have ever...
