たから亭 — Restaurant in Gotenba

What an enjoyable experience. Firstly the staff were so accommodating. They helped us in English with our choices from the menu as we do not read or speak Japanese. One of the waitresses, who was explaining what one of the specials was even went to ask a colleague what the English word for Buri is. We learned it is yellowtail and the dish was delicious.

We had spicy fried chicken; steamed buri in a soy sauce; dim sum; tofu in a savoury and spicy pork sauce; and fried rice with pork and fish. The chicken was the crispest fried chicken I have ever eaten and the whole dish had nice smokey flavour from the dried chillies. The tofu in the savoury pork sauce was excellent and the fried rice was incredible with little chunks of pork which tasted smokey like the meat had been barbecued.

Each dish was delivered with a smile and an explanation in English from the server. The staff were what made tonight's experience so enjoyable. They helped us understand what we were ordering and were also very kind when my girlfriend used our phrase book to tell them the food was delicious. They were kind, knowledgable and very courteous.

We left the restaurant with huge smiles and memories of a dining experience we will remember for a long...

アウトレットの帰りに寄りました。

主人と娘と私3人ともランチセットを 注文。 小鉢6種類にメインが1つ選べて 私は酢豚にしました。 先に運ばれてきた 小鉢だけでお腹いっぱいになりそうです。 そして美味しい。 生玉ねぎとトマトの小鉢は生玉ねぎが 甘くて感動✨ メインの酢豚は野菜が大きくカットしてあり 歯ごたえありで個人的には好き。 年配の方には少し硬いかもしれません。 珍しく芽キャベツが入ってました。 スープもほっとする優しい味！ 主人のメインは炒飯。コチラも美味！ 娘は油淋鶏。食べなかったけど美味しいと言ってました。 お漬物の搾菜と切り干し大根？の漬物も 美味しかったです。 これだけでもご飯が食べれます。

店内は落ち着いた雰囲気で隣りのテーブルの間にパーテーションカーテンがあり 周りが気にならない空間でお食事ができました。
