Green Hills Souan — Hotel in Hakone

The entryway to the hotel is near by the sign for the entryway to the restaurant, i think, because the front sign from the main road is in kanji that is quite different from how the other locals write it, and no alphabet in the sign. As I’m writing this review, they are offering breakfast for me, in which I haven’t tried. Don’t try to go around Hakone after around 16.00 because there is no more buses left to this area!! You don’t want to be stranded walking around 30 min in the dark just to reach this hotel. You have to be prepared because the entryway to the hotel is around 45’ slope. Yes there is a taxi but I still have no adequate info about it. The room is spacious and there is an ofuro (indoor bathtub) in which the hot water is very nice to get into. Turn the red trimmed knob on the bathtub to immediately get a nice hot water, hassle free. The cold water here is no joke, 9’C! 今日は、仙石原の長安寺と湿生花園で色々な花を見て、お昼を||”草庵”に行ってみました。何時も、そのすぐ隣にある、中華料||理の”太源”に行っているのですが、今回は友人の紹介もあり、||初めて、草庵にお邪魔しました。驚くような急坂を登り、駐車||場に車を止めると、そこから又登り・・・登りは階段とスロー||プの２つのコースがあり、行きはスロープ、帰りは階段を選び||ました。宿泊もできるという立派な建物は、周りを林に囲まれ、||落ち着いた佇まいのレストランでした。中に案内されてみると||食堂は畳の上にテーブルがあり、スリッパを履いてそのまま上||がりました。食堂は二方が大きなガラス張りで木々に囲まれて||いましたが、紅葉の時期はきっと素晴らしい景色なのだと思い||ます。ちなみにお聞きしましたら、紅葉は１１月の末頃だとか。||ランチは１１時３０分～１３時３０分までで、￥２，７００と||￥３，８００とおまかせランチの￥６，５００の３種類があり||ました。今回は初めてでしたので、家内と￥３，８００のラン||チで魚料理と肉料理を注文して半分づつ食べてみることにしま||した。前菜から始まって、どの料理も大変美味しい料理でした||し、スープやデザートも大変美味しく頂きました。パンがつい||た上にご飯と味噌汁まで出て来たので驚きましたが、ご飯も品||の良いしょうが入りのご飯で、これもなかなか楽しむことがで||きました。パンフレットを見ると、デｲナーは１８時～１９時||３０分までとなっており、￥４，２００と￥６，５００と||￥８，７００の３種類となっています。又、宿泊もできるとの||ことで、税・サービス別１泊２食（夕・朝食）￥１２，５００||と￥１４，５００と￥１６，５００となっています。||今度は、是非、紅葉の時期に行ってみたいと思いますが、美味||しいお料理と言っても、値段もそこそこの値段ですので、やは||りそうちょくちょくと言う訳には行かないと思います。||ちなみに定休日は火曜日と第...
