Ryokan New Ogiya — Hotel in Honshu

We stayed for 2 nights at Ryokan New Ougiya and for our entire 2 week trip, and it was the most comfortable 2 nights we had. It took us about 30 minutes drive to get there from Fukushima station so it is quite conveniently close by. ||||The first night we arrived quite late, and despite having advised us in advanced that there would be no eateries open by then, the chef managed to create something (vegetarian) for us. We were very thankful for the hospitality. Food was excellent: fresh and generous, we partook in breakfast which was enough to fill us up well past lunch time. ||||There were a variety of different onsens to use, both public and private, we chose the private ones during our stay and once we got used to the hot water, they were extremely comfortable. Clean also. ||||Staff was overall excellent. 2025年3月下旬に2度目の宿泊です。

我が家の愛犬太陽がペット宿、通算187軒目 283泊目（2024/8）、319泊目（2025/3）に泊まったお宿となります。

今回も楽天で予約です。

部屋 初回ちょっと広めの10畳のはずでしたが、 12畳+6畳とちょっとどころじゃなかったです。 空気清浄機、エアコン、扇風機、冷蔵庫（冷凍）、ケトル有り。 2回目　10畳のお部屋　装備は同じかな

風呂　大浴場、露天有り（入替え）。サウナは無し。 別途宿泊者限定の貸切家族風呂が6ヶ所有り。 （内風呂、露天風呂）特に3階のお風呂は濃い源泉 で激熱でした。(^_^;)　泉質は2種類有る模様。

食事場所　夕は部屋食　朝は食堂

夕食　なかなか美味かった。お吸い物の出汁良い。 刺し身も北寄貝の柔らかさに驚き、川俣シャモ鍋も 美味かった〜　最後のデザートは桃のプリン♪ これでご飯お替り出来たら最高でした。 次回はお櫃でもらっておこう。

2回目も満足いくレベルでした。 プリンははちみつです。

朝食　基本的ですが、意外と量多めでした。 また福島の実の硬い桃とか嬉しいです。 画像忘れましたが、留守番の犬用の蒸し野菜有り。 内容的に部屋食出来そうな感じなので是非とも 検討お願いします。 （犬を暑い車に閉じ込めるておくのは可哀想）

2回目　基本的に同じ感じです。 今回も愛犬は車で待機させました。 （隣の部屋の小型犬は悲しそうに鳴いてました）

犬関係　部屋に犬用品一通り有り。 ゲージは無し（貸し出し有り） 基本館内はマナーベルト着用です。

駐車場は建屋裏手に7台+10台くらい有り。 場所判りにくいので事前にチェックしておいた方が 良いです。犬の入口は裏手なので利便性は良いです。

最後に夕食時に大女将がわざわざ部屋までご挨拶に お越し下さいました。有難う御座いました。

今回も大女将がご挨拶に来られました。 前回は超警戒していた太陽も、大女将さんの手からオヤツを頂ける様になりました。次回はオヤツくれと手を挙げそうだな。
