I wish I can give this hotel 0 stars. I was sleeping and woke up in the middle of the night itching. There was a bug on the bed and I was bit four times. My arm had 2 major swollen bites. I asked for a room change and at the reception the Japanese man staff was super rude he can’t speak English and using face and hand gestures to tell me to shut up. The other staff can speak minimal English but both staff did not apologize. They managed to change my room and in this new room there is a stain on the bed sheet. The only reason I decided to stay here is because I have an early flight to catch and as of now it’s midnight and only a few hours before for my flight. It is insane how rude the staff and how poorly they handled the situation. The hygiene in this hotel is horrible. Please don’t stay here. This morning the staff even said to me I am ridiculous, as they changed my room 3 times due to their own issue and poor hygiene. My body was still itching all over even after the room changes. ||||I left 1 shirt behind in one of the rooms and he said why did I leave my shirt there it is my fault. Keep saying it is your fault why did you forget it? He said that for 1 minute. Yes of course it is my fault but the issue is he almost refused to let me get my shirt back. This is insane. Please do yourself a favour and don’t stay at this hotel. I have travelled so many times to Japan and this hotel is a nightmare and the staff will yell and offend you. We booked this hotel because it was listed as a five star. Immediately when you enter you realize that it is not. We booked it as it was close to the airport for our next day trip to Korea. Although we booked for three people and paid as such, they wanted us to pay for two more breakfasts in the morning. The breakfast which is very separ compared to the other included breakfasts that we experienced on our trip to Japan. From the manga library to the onsen everything was very subpar. We arrived late in the evening and they did not have room for us so decided to ask us for more money for the same room on a smoking floor. We had specifically asked for when further from the elevator but was given one on a smoking floor close to the elevator and they asked for 4000 more yen. They do not have credit card tapb citing security concerns and for a 5star hotel that is concerning. There were no provisions in the bathroom. You had to get them yourself in the lobby. Staff does not seem very knowledgeable and unable to assist with simple requests. Very disappointed in this hotel. It would be a stretch to give them two stars out of five stars. The manga library was smaller than in the pictures and although they do have massage chairs they are all paid. Coming area garbage cans and microwave. Do not feel like a five-star experience. Perfect new hotel that is 2 stations away from Kansai Osaka Airport. Take platform 2 to go Kansai airport, 10 mins away.||Hotel is directly outside of Izuminsano station on the left side you will see "REF". With 7 eleven, a drugstore, 100 yen store and multiple small restaurants at this small quiet town within 1 min walk, all less than 350m.||Pros:|- very polite and wonderful service by staff, was greeted so warmly and welcomed!|- clean room with bathtub. each floor have microwave and cutleries near elevator.|- amazing public bath looks modern, well maintained, with dyson hairdryer!|- has manga section with izumisano city view, massage chair for 300 yen for 15 mins, and milk in the vending machine (need to pay) all at level 12 (highest floor).|- unlimited welcome drinks till 11pm at lobby.|-amenities such as face wash, face lotion, hair mask, comb, all available at lobby area.||Cons: cant think of any! Oh maybe the curtains in room i couldnt pull it to the side to see the view:)|-oh, note that japan hotel pillows tend to be flat. and generally double room size is 13m.||Haf a wonderful stay with a nice view at lvl 11, made fantastic with the lovely lady receptionist so kind and polite!||i wasnt able to sign up as Vessel member as need to be done within 24 hrs and i only saw the email after, and the email is in japanese .||My visit: May 2024 , stayed at 4 other hotels before visiting here....
