Rooms. 11 rooms. I was in 401 with a comfortable terrace to sunbathe on. All rooms come with a gorgeous open air bath, incredible views, and some have a sauna too

@ the hotel. Wonderful staff and great hospitality, their GM Kay runs a tight ship. It’s hard to peel yourself away once you check in but there are tourist sites nearby. There is a spa on the first floor and you are just steps away from the crystal clear water

Food & drinks. Stunning view during sunset and just as nice at breakfast, everything tasted good

We had 2 top floor rooms and the view was fantastic. Our private onsen on the balcony had great sea view. Sauna in the room was also great. The room was luxurious, however, the room temperature was too warm even in December. The air con didn't cool the room down. It was too hot in the room. Very uncomfortable to sleep at night. ＧＷに熊本市から足を伸ばし、天草の世界遺産の教会の街を観光した後、2023年にオープンしたばかりのこちらの宿に宿泊しました。|　10年以上前に天草を旅行した際、ホテル竜宮の「天使の梯子」に宿泊し満足した記憶があり、同じグループでさらに高級路線に特化した新しい宿ということで興味が湧き、今回予約しました。|　熊本市から車で1時間強、世界遺産の崎津教会までも1時間強、熊本市から崎津教会まで行きこちらの宿まで戻ると3時間半となかなかの距離を運転することになりますが、天草周辺の観光とセットで考えれば良い場所と言えます。ただし帰りは迂回ルートの少ないなか大渋滞でしたので、スケジュールには余裕を持った方がいいです。|　眺めの良いラウンジでウェルカムドリンクを頂きながらチェックインした後、アート作品が飾られた吹き抜けや通路を通って部屋に案内されます。全11室オーシャンビューということもあり、広々とした部屋からは天草松島の海と島々が眺められます。ジュニアスイートの半露天風呂客室を予約したのですが、墨色をベースにしたシックな色合いで、長いカウンターと洒落た椅子の奥に大きなソファが配置されており、照明やテーブル、チェア、壁材・床材も高級感が漂います。リビングに繋がる形で奥の寝室には1人で寝るには大き過ぎるベッドが2つあり、リネン類も高級な品を使っていそうです。シンクやトイレも部屋と同様の雰囲気で、アメニティはモルトンブラウン等が使われていました。風呂も広々とした石造りで、お湯は天草松島温泉を引いており、浴室奥の巨大な窓はテラスに続きますが、電動で上部に開いて半露天にして海を眺めることができます。|　夕食はダイニングに移動し、海と水盤をインフィニティプールのように重ねて見ながら、10席ほどのカウンターで、天草や熊本の海の幸、地の物を使ったコースを頂けます。伊勢海老はお造りと難波焼と味噌汁で、他にも赤牛や鮑など贅沢な品々が続き、〆は目の前で寿司を一貫ずつ握って頂き、どれも本当に美味しく、お腹一杯になりつつ最後まで楽しめました。朝食は、同じカウンターで違った時間帯の海を眺めながら、地魚のポワレやオムレツ等、こだわりの洋食コースを頂きました。|　朝食後はチェックアウトまで少し時間があったので、朝風呂に入った後、宿の前の散歩道を腹ごなしに散歩して、天草松島の景色を堪能できました。|　天草にはいくつか高評価の宿があり、どの宿を予約するか悩みましたが、こちらは部屋・食事・サービス、どれを取っても非常にレベルが高く、贅沢な滞在を経験することができました。気軽に行ける場所・金額ではないですが、機会があれば是非再訪した...
