Gandaramanazuru Seaside Camping Ground — Hotel in Manazuru

While we didn’t stay, I was quite surprised by the absolute lack of hospitality and friendliness of the elderly couple I assume runs the place. I was walking along the beach with 3 kids and a dog and as the camp site is at the very end of a quite difficult hike, I asked if we could pass through and up to the main road but was firmly told NO unless we agreed to pay 2,000JPY! How ridiculous is that? The location IS nice, but frankly the site looked a mess. Even the entrance is filled with old junk and discarded mopeds, etc. Have a walk along the beach but find some other...

A hidden gem tucked into the cliffside. Steep stairs/walk down that can be tricky with all your gear but there is a makeshift trolley you can request to use for some pocket change.

A nice open camp ground, access to fridges, a working toilet, sink. Not clean but plenty use able. Very private space if you book during the off season and the water is 30 seconds away. No sand and all rocks so be aware... Don't recommend walking around...

キャンプ利用としてではないですがこの辺の海岸を散歩していたら丘へ上れるような道があったので階段を上るとこの施設のおばはんがいて、 いきなり軽くキレ気味でここは私有地だというようなことを言われました、長い事確認はしていないが私有地と書いた看板を置いた、などと言っていたので私が看板を見落としたのかもしれないと思いその場は何となく流しましたが結局帰りも看板は見当たりませんでした。 当然そのおばはんでも誰でも知らない土地で看板も無かったりすれば知らずに私道を通ってしまう可能性はあると思います、 それを看板があるなどと不正確な根拠を元にいきなり人を悪者扱いするような物言いをする事はちょっと常識に欠ける部分があると思うのでこういった人のいるとこは注意した方がいいかもしれません。 またこういう事があると伊豆という所に嫌な印象が残ってしまいます。

急な階段だと思ったんで看板が無ければほとんど上がりきるまでキャンプ場とは分からないでしょ、 又公道の脇にキャンプ場を置いてるかなど上がって見渡してみないと分からないでしょ、 どうのこうの言って悪気のない人を悪者扱いしたいのかな？そういう事したいならやめなさい。 反対に相手を非常識呼ばわりするとかまともじゃないのかな？ そちらでしょ、知らないで道を歩いてたら不法侵入扱いされたいんですか？ 上記の理由から非常識なところは注意した方がいいかもしれないと書いたんです、 営業妨害ではなく健全なクチコミってもんでしょ。 看板立てても捨てられるって普通わざわざ捨てる人そんないないでしょ、恨みでも買ってるんですか？ ちゃんと看板を立てる...
