Staying here was an experience, from start to finish. The Lego theming begins before even entering, with the appearance of the building, and Lego models in front of the entrance. While waiting to check in, there's Lego flying above your head, and a big pit of Lego for children to play in.|Everything is colorful, and Lego theming is everywhere. There is a sense of fun to everything. Even the lifts are exciting, as dance music and party lights spin around as it takes you to your floor. The theming in the corridors makes it clear which section you're in, and it all carries on into the rooms.|There are Lego models everywhere in the room, and Lego theming on the walls and floor. There is a safe with some free Lego sets, which can be unlocked after solving some riddles involving details in the room to get the code. Great fun!||In terms of the room, it was very clean, amenities were good and all Lego themed, and the coffee and hot chocolate (cocoa) were both great. The bed was very comfortable.||The restaurant has a lot of Lego theming, and there is a play area for children.|The price for dinner, which includes one a la carte dish and the buffet, is high but worth it. The food was all excellent. My only disappointment is that I wasn't hungrier, so I couldn't eat more.|Breakfast was included, and the breakfast buffet was again excellent.|For measures against Covid, everyone wears a mask when not at their tables, and at the buffet everyone uses disposable plastic gloves. There is also alcohol spray, of course.||Staff were always cheerful and helpful.||(Finally, during dinner, there was a photo opportunity with a chef Lego character. From a table by the window, I watched the chef (person in a costume) come from somewhere behind Legoland, and after the photo session they returned. Not only were they in the costume the entire time, but in character, waving and acting like a Lego character, until they finally were out of sight after entering a doorway quite far away. A brilliant detail that keeps the magic of Legoland, for anyone sat by the window who might just happen to...

We decided to stay at Legoland hotel as there was a concert next door at Messi Port Exhibition Centre which we bought tickets for. This made it convenient as we have kids and could entertain our kids at Legoland at the same time.

The hotel was clean, service was good and friendly, and the kids loved the lego themed rooms with bunkbeds and lego everywhere!

The only downside of this property and Legoland itself is its location. It’s located on the outskirts of Nagoya in the port area. The hotel and Legoland itself is completely surrounded by port and industrial buildings. This means that food options is limited to what the hotel and the Legoland related makers pier has to offer. The few restaurants at makers pier all shut early and are mostly closed by 7pm, leaving pretty much the only option for food being the hotel restaurant, which had its last order by 8:30pm. Hence late dinners are a no-go for this hotel. Am not sure what I would do if I arrived past 9pm at this hotel and have a hungry family to feed. There’s a convenience store 500m away at the train station, but it closes at 10pm on weekdays and apparently even earlier on weekends.

Advice for would be travellers, we took the train 2 stops from Legoland to Inae and there’s a few food options there.

Recommendation to hotel management:

Offer late night room service option if possible for guests who need to eat past 8:30pm

If late night room service isn’t possible due to manpower or budget, perhaps at least some food vending machines in the hotel would be much appreciated

It would be good if there was a 24 hour or late night convenience store nearby. Beyond the food, people might need sundries late night

That being said, we did enjoy our stay very much. Did not want to be overly critical but do think that if the hotel could address the late night food options, it would see even more success! Thank you...

Legoland Hotel Japan may not be as luxurious as any of the Tokyo Disneyland/DisneySea Hotels but the former gives travelers more value for their money. For example, kids can play legos to their hearts' content on either the first or the second floor play areas. Their elevators gives you that "disco feel" (so experience it yourself when you check-in). When dining at the Brick's Restaurant, a mini-buffet is included when ordering the main dish. For my family, the Kingdom Themed premium room on the 8th floor was part of our vacation package. A bunk bed for the kids was located upon entering the room with a uv purifier unit & lcd tv, and a queen-sized bed for parents was situated by the window. Standard bedroom and bathroom amenities were replenished daily as expected. Heated toilet seats and handheld bathtub shower-head function perfectly. Each part of the room either had lego-related wall papers or lego-built ornaments. Important to note that all luggages can be deposited at the concierge prior to check-in (in case you arrive at the hotel earlier than 4pm), and after checking out (if you still plan to go to the theme park past 11am).

My students and I enjoyed our stay here. Although I can’t speak Japanese, someone in the receiving area could and help us check in. We left our bags and enjoyed our day in Legoland, when we came back our luggages were already in our room. We stayed in the pirate room and it was clean. The kids had their own bunk beds but we slept together and fit in the main bed. They enjoyed the mini game inside too. During our last day, I lost the kids after I went to the bathroom, they went to the hotel and the staff called me. The kids weren’t nervous at all because they felt safe in the hotel. Overall it was a nice experience. I just hope they have bigger lobby, the kids don’t mind it for sure because there’s a big place full of legos but there weren’t any place to sit for adults. Also, their restaurants close really early and there weren’t any restaurants open from 9 nor stores nearby to get some food, we got hungry but we made it thru eating leftover popcorn from the then park 😂
