Read moreANA Crowne Plaza Narita earns a glowing 5/5. With excellent staff, punctual airport shuttle, peaceful rooms, and thoughtful extras like a Family Mart stocked with snacks, souvenirs, and SIM cards, it’s a standout airport hotel. Add in a solid gym (despite odd signage) and you’ve got a perfect place to recharge post-flight.
Full Review:
For travelers weary from long-haul flights or those seeking a smooth start or end to their Japan journey, ANA Crowne Plaza Narita stands out as a shining example of what an airport hotel should be. Efficient, well-equipped, and refreshingly welcoming, it offers a rare combination of functionality and thoughtful hospitality that earns it a full 5 out of 5 in my book.
The experience started strong with a punctual, clean, and comfortable shuttle service from Narita Airport—one of those small details that instantly instills confidence in the stay to come. Upon arrival, check-in was quick and pleasant, thanks to a team of staff members who were not only efficient but genuinely kind and attentive.
Our room was everything one could hope for from a well-run business hotel—clean, comfortable, and, most importantly, quiet. The soundproofing was particularly excellent, shielding us from any nearby air traffic or hallway chatter and allowing for a restful night’s sleep after a long travel day. It wasn’t flashy, but it was well-maintained and smartly designed, with just enough warmth to keep it from feeling sterile.
One of the biggest highlights of the property is the on-site Family Mart on the first floor, which goes above and beyond your typical convenience store. Not only was it well-stocked with late-night snacks and drinks, but it also offered Japanese souvenirs, travel essentials like data SIMs, and a selection of ready-to-eat meals—a thoughtful touch that speaks to the international, in-transit clientele the hotel clearly understands.
Fitness-minded travelers will appreciate the gym facilities, which are a step above what many airport hotels typically offer. Treadmills, weight machines, and open space for stretching or light routines were all available. The one hiccup was the slightly confusing signage—finding the gym felt like a bit of a scavenger hunt, with some awkwardly placed indicators. But once located, it was a satisfying amenity that rounds out the hotel’s offerings nicely.
All things considered, ANA Crowne Plaza Narita excels at the details that matter—comfort, convenience, and quality service. For those looking to transition seamlessly between flights and rest, this hotel does more than just check the boxes; it wraps them in a neat little bow. A strong recommendation and one of the better airport hotels I’ve stayed...
Read moreStayed here for 23 nights recently for work commitments,
First impressions as I pulled up outside were really good, even walking into reception it looked clean and bright.
At check in the guy didn’t really have much idea what he was doing and what I was asking for regarding the room I had booked, some rooms are slightly bigger so with having a long stay this is what I wanted. As I said he didn’t really understand which was poor really as he put me in the small room which I moved from 2 days later.
I wasn’t asked if I wanted the extra points or a drink voucher at check in and automatically given points, after realising I didn’t have the free drinks voucher after a few days of settling in I spoken to a very rude gentleman at reception who has no customer service experience at all, he was very rude towards myself and it wasn’t the last time I experienced this rude man. When me and my colleague asked about the hotel bbq he was very rude again and this time shouting at us when we asked for a discount that was offered to us a few days earlier when we spoke to one of his colleagues. The next time he was rude to me was when my room
Hadn’t been cleaned AGAIN on my return to the hotel after a long day at work, went to reception where he told me sternly that I had requested my room not to be cleaned for the remainder of my stay, what anyone on a long stay would request that for a 500 points is beyond me, I am
Appalled by his behaviour and attitude to paying guests.
Back to the hotel, the rooms are very very dated and are screaming out to refurbished, I understand that a lot of people who stay here are for 1 or 2 nights for a lay over but still have guests interests at heart with how the rooms
Look, lots of hotels in the area are the same dated rooms but if this hotel updated then I’m sure they would get more business.
The maids were very shy with the hoover and duster, only seemed to remake the bed and empty the bin, strange really.
Breakfast is very good and the staff in the breakfast room are excellent.
The bar and restaurant are very expensive. I think of the prices were more reasonable then more people would definitely use them.
thankfully the small Shop in reception is there as nothing is around the hotel area at all. Staff in the shop are excellent.
Wouldn’t hurry back to this hotel. Very disappointed as a crowne plaza hotel as it’s the worse hotel I’ve ever stayed in that’s part of...
