Azumakan — Hotel in Nihonmatsu

We stayed here for one night after a spending a few days in Nihonmatsu. Our stay was enjoyable and relaxing, the room was excellent and very clean, I particularly liked that the room had both the traditional low seating on the tatami floor and an adjacent carpeted area with sofa and chairs. There is no wifi in the rooms but free 15min/day near reception.||||We had an excellent meal in a private room there were many courses each one beautifully presented and each one very tasty. Beer and wine reasonably priced. The staff were so friendly even though my Japanese is limited to a very few words we had no trouble in ordering what we wanted.||||The hot spring has both indoor and out door spas and the water is wonderfully relaxing.||||I can't wait...

Stayed 8 nights in Azumakan Ryokan in November. ||Without exception all staff we encountered were helpful, friendly and welcoming. Though they had few words of English this was not a problem, |The food was very good, varied and interesting, Alternating between The Buffet, and Traditional style, which is served in private room, ||The bedrooms, are spacious and traditional, matting floor and low seating during the day. Then futon beds are made up for you in the evening, |Everywhere is spotlessly clean.||Large swimming pool. And traditional hot spring baths||We picked up a DoCoMo wireless Internet box at the airport from Telecom Square, and this had good coverage, in the hotel and out and about.||8 min...
