You can see that this place isn't new, a bit long in the tooth, but this doesn't really affect your stay.

There's a good selection of baths, outdoors, large indoor, 3x jacuzzi and another indoor. The outdoor bath seemed to the hottest, that was my favourite as you can stand about outside SBN.

I was told there was a no tattoo policy but it wasn't enforced. I did see another tattooed person inside but not yakuza.

Rooms have a great view out to the ocean and the setting sun, but guys, please, clean the windows! That spoilt the view.

Beds are comfy enough.

Wasn't a particular fan of the food. We ate half board.

At the end of the day, at around £177 per night it ain't cheap, but hey its Japan.

We stayed for two nights in this Hotel, the staff were lovely, attentive and kind. The Hotel is very clean and modern. The Onsen is a very nice place to relax. Our room had a lovely view towards the sea.||You can rent bikes from the hotel and ride to Sunset beach, I swam in the sea (Oct) and it was still warm. It's a surf beach and I think you can rent boards locally....maybe next time!||Upon departure the manager presented us with a gift which was very thoughtful.||Breakfast is a Japanese style buffet which was nice.||The Hotel provides a minibus service to the local train station which is very useful.||All in all, 10/10. 今回は、私事により関東方面に計画していた旅行をキャンセルして、1泊2日のミニ旅行となりました。 行先をあれこれ探していたところ、「かに食べ放題」なるものにつられるように今回は本宿に宿泊予約と相成りました。 先ずは、到着し「高橋親子」のお出迎え（笑）に始まり、天井に届くかの勢いの大型の人形（祭りに使ったもの）の歓迎を受けました。（再び（笑））チェックイン後に、とりあえず部屋に荷物を置いて再びロビーへ、お目当ては宿泊客専用のフリードリンク（アルコール＆ソフトドリンク＆羽二重餅）。先ずはビールで乾杯、ぐびぐびと一気に2杯飲みました。続いてスパークリングからの樽ハイ、そして再度ビールを2杯と飲みすぎちゃいました。 そして1時間無料のカラオケに突入。一旦部屋に戻り、水平線に沈む夕日を眺めながらのまったりタイム。部屋が最上階７階ということとホテルが高台なので、三国の街並みやテクノパークなども含めて非常に景色は最高でした。 今回は妻との結婚３０周年記念旅行でしたので、規模が縮小したとはいえ記念旅行だったので、事前にホテルにその旨を伝えておいたところ、チェックイン時に記念品を頂くことが出来ました。 ホテル側の心遣いに非常に感銘を受けましたし、チョットしたことですがそういうところが非常にうれしかったです、感謝です。 部屋の掃除・手入れも行き届いており、廊下もキレイで文句なしでした。 食事ですが、やはり皆さんの口コミ通りに「かに」に関しては、いかんともし難い品質で、いわゆるお代わりをしている人は殆ど見られなかったです。余りディスるのは嫌なので、これで十分伝わると思います。 それ以外は品数も十分で、私たちの年齢では十分でした。朝食時の手作り海鮮丼も美味しくいただけました。イクラは良く見ると自然物では無かったようです。 温泉は若干温めだったようで、特に女性風呂は温度が低かったようです。タタミ風呂も広くてゆっくりとくつろぐことが出来ました。ロビーのソフトドリンクは２４時間飲み放題だったので、湯上りに多くの方が利用されていましたし、私どもも湯上りの喉を潤すのに沢山利用させて頂きました。 総合的に、立地は高台にあるので景色は最高ですし、色んなサービスも十分で、従業員の方の接客も非常に良かったです。レストランでの外国人従業員の方も親切丁寧な接客をして頂き、非常に良かったです。 また、機会があれば今度は子供や孫を連れて訪ねてみるの...
