Great hotel in a fantastic location within walking distance to JR central train station with limited car parking facilities directly behind the hotel and next to a local train station (which we forgot the name of the station as we rented a vehicle). If you drive to the hotel and decided to use the hotel car park (subject to availability), the hotel will charge you ¥1500.00 per night with unlimited entry and exit within the next 24 hours. Of course there are plenty of other car parks nearby too which offers cheaper rate for parking but you’ll have to hunt around or just pay the ¥1500 for the convenience. The onsen (indoor only no outdoor and the water is milky) is located on the 2nd floor which is the same floor with the hotel only restaurant which offers buffet breakfast. The gender separated onsen closes at midnight and won’t be opened till 9am the next day so you’ll need to time yourself well. There is a laundry and dryer self service facilities with vending machines and complimentary ice making machine on the 2nd floor for your convenience.Breakfast is a typical western and Japanese affairs however you won’t be left hungry.Service is of typical Japanese affairs where you will be greeted each time you walk past the reception. The hotel encourages you to pick up tea bags, onsen body scrubs, tooth brushes, combs etc next to the ground floor lifts before you head up to your room.If you stay more than a day but less than 3 days, the hotel won’t provide room service but they’ll gladly change the towels and clear the bins for you. We are allocated to a smallest room on 11th floor (room:1106) facing the Yodobashi multi story car park, so request for any middle rooms facing the train station would get you a bigger a better view.Comfortable stay and nice bed and good bathroom and for the price we pay, we have...
Read moreI chose this hotel because of the reviews from other people but clearly these reviews are either fake or bought. When I first got here I had a problem with parking the hotel does not have enough parking even though we are in a state of emergency and there are not many people here. The first red flag was when I walked to my room and saw so many cleaning carts outside the door of the rooms during check in time. The next thing was when I came on my room the room is so small. I live in Japan for over 20 years but this is small. No space to move. The bathroom smelled like mildew and was so terrible smell. They moved me to another room that was one finger bigger and the heater didn't work. The only good thing about this hotel in the bath on the second floor. But I was shocked because a man with his daughter was there. I really don't like when father's bring there daughter in a public men bath. They have sheets in there room why do you bring your daughter here? This hotel is cheap , bad, no good service. I do not recommend you come here. Please stay another hotel. You will understand when you get here. Now my small refrigerator in my room is buzzing and making strange sounds. Hotel Vista Sendai is a very bad hotel enough...
Read moreThe other hotel I had booked had closed, so I had a room arranged as an alternative. I was surprised to find a higher grade room than the one I had originally reserved. When you enter through the door, there is a hallway, and the toilet, hand washing area, and bath are separate. There was also a door between the main room and the hallway, and an open closet was installed in front of it. I was surprised that the room also had a large washbasin. The furniture was simple but stylish. As soon as we entered the main room, I laughed at the child's remark, ``You can live in it!'', but... that's what the room was like. There was a large public bath on another floor, but the bath in the room was about the size and facilities of a small household, so this was sufficient. As for the amenity goods, each person had to pick up what they needed, but the drink selection was [jasmine tea, hojicha, and green tea]. I wonder if it's a strategy that they don't have regular tea or coffee in the lineup... Because of that, I gave it a 4 for the...
